I've got Coiled Snake back in the summer of 2020 then "quite easly" got rank 25. Now after getting creepy harvest i kept using it ever since because the heal after killing someone was always cool thing. I have spend months saving coins to buy Dyna-jump but when Creepy Harvest appeared in my shop i HAD to buy it (No regrets, and still had a lot of coins for Dyna-jump)

I play a lot of sandy, and I gotta say he deserved the nerf. That gadget was wayyyy to good. I still think he’s gonna be good, but yeah the meta is def gonna be way different

Why is gene getting the most nerfs and buffs bruh I’m so used to be able to pull and kill any 4500- hp brawler i gotta get used to deal 200 less dmg per hit now ._.

@@dim4757 Maybe for bo's tripwire gadget, they should rework it to where it detonates instantly, but at the cost of half the dmg of each mine and half the stun effect. so each mine will deal 1008 with tripwire activated and 0.75s for the stun if equipped. Another thing could be where the mines detonates individually

tbh bo's tripwire gadget is fun and have to be predictable to use, it could kill nearly everyone, but thats if you got super and timed it perfectly

@@harsh1784 Great example is Nita, she was viable back when she only did about 1000 damage but as time went on brawlers got hp buffs and then became unviable then, she started getting damage buffs and now she needs to do 1200 damage to be considered viable

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE MORTIS REWORK. Mortis is no longer gonna be viable only because of his coiled snake. The balance changes are the best part of this update

The developers of Brawl Stars balance changes still don't realize that balance issues don't lie with the health or small details of the gadgets and Sp. Many of the problems are the skill required to play a brawler. If I play, say Sandy, and all my work is just to get up close and spam the auto three or four times for get a kill, it will be much stronger than missing shots with Colt or Dyna. And it is really a problem that the true pros of the game prefer to play with Stu or Gale, because playing with any fighter that involves risk / reward will not cause enough impact in the game. And with this I do not want to mention the tanks, because they have their own difficulty involved, they must get close and take a lot of hits to be able to do something. The problem with this is when a brawler apart from being able to spam the attack like tanks, has the range of Sandy, Gale, Stu. I'm not saying that all the brawlers that are in the meta are easy to play. But I do say that all the brawlers who are out of goal is because it is simply not worth how difficult they are, because of the little impact they cause. If with some brawlers it is going to be so simple to hit their shots, consequently they should do less damage, just as Poco.

I mean, the Real balance problem is how often spam the auto is a good option. And maybe Supercell dont wanna have a balanced game, just want to be Noobfriendly and have a few brawlers more stronger than others so the people want to get them.

I mean..Hes gonna be based on the same skill level, you wont get the heal without getting a kill. And tanks are only for charging super. Or you can go in on a darryl that wasted 2 shots, then go around him and dash when he shoots, he will never be guaranteed over 1.3k which makes mortis dps better. So, its reall just knowing how to execute and play with Mortis like always. Creepy harvest will benefit chaining supers, getting kills ofc and precise steals.

Ngl, Stu's nerfs remind me of the first Surge nerf (which did nothing). I think Stu is still gonna be meta, these nerfs are very minor

The should've made it so that it takes an entire ammo (= 2 projectiles) to charge his super instead of just one.

*For all the people that want an overview of all the buff/nerfs, here it is!* Penny HP buff from 4480 to 4760 Darryl HP buff from 7000 to 7420 Edgar lifesteal increase from 189 to 264 with his attack Squeak projectile speed increased by 25%, Squeak's super now instantly detonates when hitting the ground/floor and when Squeak has yeeted a second normal attack that gets stuck to an enemy then the first one will explode when the second on lands. Bo DPS buff from 784 to 840 per each arrow Poco screeching solo buff from 800 damage to 1000 and his Protective Tunes gadget will now last 2 seconds instead of 1 Mortis buff/rework, he will now always have his large dash bar but it will take 4.5 seconds for it to fully load (it was 3.5 seconds before the rework) and Coiled Snake will now reduce the large dash bar from 4.5 seconds to 3 Shelly Clay Pidgeons rework/buff, the next 5 seconds after she used her gadget every next attack will have the Clay Pidgeons range Gene's Vengeful Spirit gadget buff, 25% more DPS, Gene's normal attack damage nerf from 1512 to 1344 and Gene's Lamp Blow-out gadget now only gives him health when it pushes enemy/enemies back El Primo super charge nerf, from 9 hits to 16 hits to get his super Belle Positive Feedback starpower nerf, from 25% to 20% (come on supercell,, she needs more nerfs than this) Stu's Breakthrough gadget now needs a super to activate, Breakthrough gadget debris DPS nerfed from 500 DPS to 200 and Gaso-heal starpower nerf, from 500 HP down to 400 HP Nani's return to sender gadget nerf, it will now only last 5 seconds and then it decays Sandy's Second gadget nerf, from 1.5 seconds to 1 Rico's Bouncy Castle nerf from 300 HP to 250 HP per bounce Heist safe HP buff from 45000 to 56000 and now the tank super charge from taking damage scales with what power level your brawler is And that were the balance changes! Ok squeak’s super change was really needed. It was seriously underpowered because it took a ton of time to actually blast and deal damage and you would have to be lucky to be able to hit your super in the first place. About the mortis change, I’m really interested to see how it will impact mortis and how players will continue to play him.

The main problem I still see with pocos second gadget is that, unless you are in power league, using it is a gamble. If you’re going into a regular trophy match, you have no idea if the enemies are going to even be able to debuff you, or how effective their debuffs are going to be. If the enemy doesn’t have anyone who can effect your team, then you basically don’t have a gadget for the whole match. It’s different in PL, since you can see who the enemies are picking, but too much of a gamble outside of PL

BS should add another effect (for Poco 2nd gadget) like MS for 1.5 sec (for him and teammates) so IF enemies (outside PL) don't have any side effects like poison or slow, Poco 2nd gadget still have something useful :)

Creepy Harvest might make Mortis viable in solo showdown and duo showdown, seeing as the time between interactions are higher than in the 3v3 modes

It’s pretty decent now She’s at least playable now Couldn’t get her past 500 trophies for forever but with this gadget I can get like a 20% 1st place rate in the new showdown plus

I just got Mortis a few weeks ago, and whenever I played with him, I'd always think "hm he's kinda cool but can't close the gaps very well and deal damage at the same time, because of his slow reload speed..." and then bam, Mortis rework. Supercell literally read my mind.

These are my favourite balance changes in the history of brawl stars, especially as an el primo main, i missed the times he was not a brainless brawler everybody uses, however i think belle was not nerfed enough, fast reload speed for a sniper is kind of unfair

I think they nerfed the wrong part of her kit, that star power certainly wasn't what made her OP. Reload needed a nerf for sure

These balance changes are some of the most solid changes in a long time, I like almost all of them. Tbh I still think Bo needs a rework, the slight buffs they keep giving him don't really change the core issues, but I'm excited nonetheless!

I agree. Don't get it twisted: I'll take whatever buff I can get for my favorite brawler in the game. However, imo his biggest issue is his second gadget. It's almost unusable. His super could also maybe use a slight delay decrease, very slightly though.

A good buff for Gene should be that his Lamp Blowout heals him depending on how many people there are. It means that if there are multiple enemies around Gene and he uses that gadget, it heals him on how many brawlers were around him.

I don't think he would be, there's rarely two people that get bounced back by his gadget, it wouldn't make a huge difference. I'm sad with the damage nerf because he was my favorite brawler, they did my boi dirty

Wish they would make it so that taras star power and her gadget help from beyond, like the shadow clone thingies would help charge her super, not by a lot of course cause that would make her OP.

Happy with all these changes, especially Squeaks, I actually thought of this super change exactly and I'm glad they implemented it. Only one in not so sure about is genes damage, seems overkill to me.

They ruined el primo ! The best way to stop teaming is to simply add a feature where in every matchmaking from solo/duos there can’t be more then 3 charachterd that are the same brawler for example you can only have 3 el primos in 1 match or 3 gene’s instead of nerfing el primo and gene because now they are both rlly bad

Man as a mortis main i love boths star powers, now that coiled snake is going to be permanent, my mortis gameplay will be better. Im more in the assasin part of mortis( coiled snake pre update and survival shovel) and now i can use creepy harvest to this combo. Mortis is getting the best update ever. #mortismain

I love that coiled snake was redone but I think they could’ve thought of a different star power. It feels a bit lazy to just reduce the time to make it what it already is.

They’ve been avoiding this since Stu’s launch, but he really needs his super charge rate decreased from 1 shot to 2 shots. He can still fully charge it with one ammo (unlike any other brawler), but he’s gotta land both shots. Buff his super’s fire damage to compensate, if necessary.

For Belle's 2nd star power. They should make it where when you get targeted your reload speed is like 10%(You can change the number)slower for until the "target" wears off by means of death or new round in brawl ball. That way it's more rewarding instead of 3 seconds, and it won't be op.

I dont know if the safe increasing health is a buff or a nerf. Its good when playing defensively, but offensively u go against thicc boi

As someone who plays Stu a lot, I actually still think he is really good. The nerfed star power is only decreased by 100 health, so he still has that ton of healing. The gadget super nerf makes sense but its still easy to get your super, like kairos said. Lastly, unless in solo showdown, the debris from his breakthrough didn't make too much of a difference since stu can still output a lot more damage. One nerf I think he should get is that both of his projectiles to hit for him to get a super and hitting 1 will only half charge it.

@@praggodey Yeah exactly, it won't impact him too much because in a good players hands, he is great just like any other brawler whereas the change would impact average and ladder play so that some random 9 year old doesn't play stu all the time and somehow own players. Atleast players have a way to counter him in a small way.
