Hi very educational video thanks for sharing. A question when they cleared you up to 9500 feet you it didn't look like you were technically in anyones airspace, so couldn't you just have climbed without asking approach since you were VFR?

At 9:04 you said 21 degrees Fahrenheit but the screen says Centigrade. Maybe you should do your calculations a third time. Mistakes can be costly.
