Big Bear Eagle Cam ~ ♥♥ Mom Sees Her New Baby For The First Time ♥♥ 4.14.19

Mom comes back to the nest and wants to incubate the eggs - - she does not know that the little one hatched earlier. Shadow is a happy camper & proud Dad & is enjoying time brooding his new baby. She sits on the side of the nest and whines to Shadow for a half hour but he is not getting up!
Mom beaks at Shadow beginning at 4:04 & again at 5:34 insisting he get up but Shadow won't budge! Finally Mom gets up and walks to the front of the nest and Shadow takes his cue and gets up and she sees her precious baby for the first time at 7:12 ♥♥♥ Now that is a beautiful sight - Mom and baby. We have a pip in the second egg so stay tuned for a lot more action! Thank you for watching!

I love seeing these beautiful eagles, they have so much power and razor sharp talons yet they are so gentle with their newborns.. it’s so precious!! Bald eagles are amazing creatures 🦅❤️

LOL Shadow was enjoying little BB1. What a good job he did incubating his baby. What a precious moment when Mom and Shadow were looking down at BB1...awww!! And, Shadow still did not leave Mom's side right away:) Loved the family pictures!! Thank you Lady Hawk:)

Lady Hawk I was watching this live this morning and watching the time as well. I was thinking 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 ??? When is he gonna give in ? I really think he was just wanting to be dramatic on the unveiling of his first precious little baby. When he got up it was like, look what happened while you were gone. I became a Daddy, come see ! This nest is very special for sure !!!!! Thanks. 🦅❤🦅

I was just cracking up this morning watching this exchange between them I didn’t realize it was 30 mins it felt like forever for sure I got some amazing screenshots from this and the actual hatch as well while it was happening!!! So cool especially since it’s my very first time from beginning to hatch and parents meeting baby?!! Wow wow wow!! Can’t wait for Baby#2 🐣🦅❤️🦅🦅❤️❤️❤️ gonna be a family of 4 soon!!!!

Lady Hawk this one brought a tear to my eye💧. I'm not sure if I was more emotional over the fact Shadow was in instant love with his child and didn't want to get up or how Jackie reacted when he wouldn't get up and eventually bowed her head almost as if depressed. It was one of the all-time most endearing scenes at any Eagles nest I've ever seen. Amazed that scene went for 30mins, very special footage. Equally beautiful was Moms first sight of her new chick. Thanks for this Lady Hawk💜💙

Poor Mom, Shadow was really being a pill. He just loved being with his first baby. Can’t wait for the second egg to hatch. I hope it doesn’t take as long. I have to work tomorrow and I won’t be able to check as often. I have a seminar tomorrow, and I always show my Eagles. I have a picture of Harriet and E9 on my desktop. Someone always asks about them, and I definitely will be sharing this little family. Thanks Lady Hawk!!

Hi. This video came up recommended for me. I thought it was from the 2021 season, but it’s from 2 years ago. I know they’ve been having trouble with their eggs, so I was momentarily all excited until I saw the date stamp on the video. Anyway, I’m hoping the last egg from their 2nd clutch hatches, but I think it’s already been over 40 days. I do soooo love Jackie and Shadow.
