Big Ambitions is a roleplaying business simulator game where we try to make our fortune in New York City by running a business! There are many different types of business available, ranging from florists to web design agencies, and we can play the game how we like; own a small business or build a gigantic empire, it's up to us!
We welcome Bernard Cupboard as he arrives in New York City with only fifty dollars to his name and nothing else. No home, no job, no car, only the clothes on his back which, it must be said, are AMAZING clothes! Bernard is a style icon!
And it's this keen sense of style that gives us an idea, why not open up a clothing shop or two to share our uniquely brilliant fashion?!
The only thing is, we don't have any money to do anything so initially we have to take care of ourselves. We get a job, sleep on a park bench, eat sparingly, all with the plan to save up enough cash to get a deposit down on an apartment and from there we can conquer the world!
This is only part one of Bernard's journey but in it he does a lot of running, potentially steals a trolley thing from a shop and carefully disposes of his litter.

Your bank balance is tiny, but your ambitions are big.
With a little help from your uncle, you get an apartment and your first job. But then it's up to you to achieve success and take over New York City any way you like.
Slowly build multiple small businesses, grow them into huge corporations, or carve your own unique path - the possibilities are limitless in this vast business sandbox. You've never played anything like this!
Go from a small apartment and public transport to luxury suites, fast cars and designer furniture. Put your money into investment funds and real estate. Succeed, fail, rebuild. But remember to take care of yourself, sleep and stay happy on your rise to the top.
Go from nothing to the most prominent tycoon in New York. Start a business, work smart, make it thrive and enjoy your life. How do you want to be successful? How far can you push it? How long can you make it last?
Start your own gift shop, supermarket, coffee shop, law firm, clothing store, liquor store, florist, and more. You decide what success is - whether it’s a single shop, a chain of fast-food restaurants, a huge corporation, or making millions developing websites.
Take out a loan, rent a building, design the logo, renovate the store, get stock, manage your money, hire staff, and build your infrastructure. Soon, you may have to start importing products from the harbour and distributing them through a network of warehouses.
A bigger business means managers. Hire HR Managers, Logistics Managers, and Purchasing Agents. They all need desks and computers, so you’ll need a fancy headquarters.
Need a delivery truck? Travel to a dealer and buy one. Need food? Go to a supermarket, but make sure you have a refrigerator at home. Big Ambitions is a life sim where your character has to physically interact with the world to survive and succeed.
Enter any building in New York and buy it. Go from a small apartment to a dream penthouse in midtown, a luxurious townhouse in Hell’s Kitchen, or a series of skyscrapers. Fill each with furniture that suits your style and standing. Invest your hard-earned cash in real estate to grow your empire. Take over the city piece by piece.
Spend your wealth however you wish. Buy a big SUV, a speedy sports car, or the new luxurious Mersaidi S500. Maybe risk it all at the casinos or put your money into investment funds and reap the rewards.
As you progress, you always need to ensure you get enough sleep and stay healthy and happy. Enjoy the journey, for as you grow older, you’ll discover that money can’t buy you time... or can it?

This is a great game. My happy trick is to spend a day at the park, use pullup bar at night (lasts for 24 hours), then supplement with reading, tv, or computer, depending on need and ability. You can also get a gym membership, but I've never done it so not totally sure what it does. Looking forward to this series.

Also, if you want to keep the Ika carts, just make sure to leave a package in it. Carts won't despawn if they have inventory. But they'll disappear if you leave the building and it's empty. Early game, I usually keep a few Ika carts at my businesses just to move larger amounts of items around.

Can't wait to see more of the Adventures of Bernard in Gotham! Certainly out the door with a bang so far. Edit (Forgot to say): That office in definitely-not-a-Swedish-Furniture-Company was to talk to them so you can then call and order furniture over the phone instead of having to visit every time. Make sure you hit that up for each of the businesses to avoid needless travel.

So happiness. Every single activity that gives happiness only gives a set %, so say 1 second in the park is 30%, 20 hours in the park will still be 30% happiness. However the longer you spend the longer the bonus lasts. So say you have a day off, spend it at the park and you might have your 30% bonus for 15 days. I spent many nights sleeping on a bench in the park at the start of my game and even though I haven't been there in weeks (ingame) I still have my 30% bonus for 298 days. Here is the list of activities that give happiness : 1-being in the park, you can sleep on a bench and it'll count. It's free and gives 30% 2-being in the skate park, you can sleep in the bench conveniently placed at the center and it'll count. This park is found in Lower Manhatan just behind the subway station called Center Station. It's free and gives 25% 3-exercising at the gym, it's located at the corner of 4th avenue and 5th street. to give you an indication the corner of the park near where the subway station is located is 3rd avenue and 4th street. At full energy and food you can exercise 2 times 2 hours, more is impossible because exercising drains energy and food and you would faint. It also costs 25 to enter. It'll give you a 20% boost for 2 days. 4-Watching TV, the cheapest TV costs 300 at "Not Ikea" and is a wall tv so no extra furniture needed. It can be placed in your house or a store or a warehouse. It'll give you a 25% boost. 5-reading a book, requires to have a bookcase and a book, don't know if it can be used anywhere but your house or the % it gives as I've never used it . 6-Playing on the computer. Not sure it can be used outside your house I seem to remember that if you try to use it in a retail or warehouse it'll simply open the apps instead. It's at least for sure what happens if you try to use one of the computers in an office. It requires a table, chair and computer, the least expensive combo is a simple table and chair (40 +100) found at not ikea and AJ Pederson (and others but those are the easier ones to find) And a computer, the cheapest being 900, again found at Not Ikea. gambling and the boat are late game and I have no idea of the price or bonus they give. Also being sad and unable to leave your home IS a big problem. If you're homeless the streets are your home and you will no be able to enter any building. Edit: Being homeless and still getting positive happiness even the days you don't get any money (day off at work if you're still working at El Gato) : Sleep at both parks, the bonuses are cumulative and go to the gym at least every other day to exercise 2 hours and you're set.It'll cost you 12.5 per day. You can also delay renting an appartement and use the storage room of your first shop, food can be placed on the ground, no need for a fridge, no need for a bed if you sleep in the parks and you get yourself a 300 money TV and you won't need to go to the gym anymore. Also had you worked 2 days at El Gato with full salary you could have gotten 12000. The amount DOES go up if you have worked longer, however I don't know how long for how high outside of those 2 days work for 12000 (or is it 14000 can't remember now :p )

Wow, *the* Charlie Pryor gave you his blessing! Bernard's Fashion Virus...err, Trend is spreading! Yes, applying for a loan when your job is literally starting that minute. *Shakes head and tuts disapprobvingly.* And you did not choose the same place that included the electric/furnishings and hope you can afford playing the meter every month. Bernard has the basics, and I have faith in him. (And for the record, as a person who is a 4th generation US American whose ancestry is from New York, sometimes Nightclubs are only open on weekends, even in "The City that never sleeps." The ever partying Studio 54 era is long over. Heck, CBGB is also long over.)

You already had geek cupboard colors before you got the shoes. You got a blue shirt under the fancy one. And btw there was a scroll bar in the pant section, think there might have been more options.
