Overlanding Travel in Botswana
In Part 4 of our Big Botswana Baecation travel vlog, we head to the Okavango Delta and the Moremi Game Reserve. En route there, the sandy roads of Botswana nearly rattle us to pieces. And surprisingly, the Wild Dog does something it's never done before: it fails to start. Car trouble right at the start of our Moremi Adventure! Granted, our Toyota Land Cruiser 80 Series is a bit of an elderly gent.
Do we manage to coax the 4x4 back to life so we can make it to our intended destination of Third Bridge?! A little bit of yes and a little bit of no, and quite a bit of smoke from one attempted rescue plan!
This part of the trip proves to be extremely adventurous and entertaining (to say the least): Car trouble! Lions at the gate (of an unfenced camp!). Wild Dog pack sighting to outshine our own Wild Dog; And the frequent and very nearby sounds of a big male lion roaring and patrolling right past our camp site. The Okavango Delta lions sure live up to their reputation, and Third Bridge, when we eventually get there, does not disappoint.

What an adventure! I was a bit wondering because of the long time between the last and this video but you´re showing us how life in the bush can be. It is absolutely great to see how you kept smiling allthough all the troubbles about the battery.. I hope the new one solved all the problems and you could concentrate on the wildlife. Nice to see that you had the same campsite at Third Bridge as we had allmost three years ago. Can´t wait to be there again. Good luck to you for the next part of your adventure.
