Very cool out of the box thinking on this one!! My guess was an old school hemi… to stay in character with a Chrysler product. This still fits that bill!!

@@ThePaintPaperHustle Honestly I've only seen one car that was lower with mud tire on it. It was a 34 ford with one off wheels and tractor tires that was above the roof of the car. I thought the car builder did an amazing job.

I love the engine choice and I would still keep the big 22" wheels will look better with the chopped top keep being you I'll like it however you go with this car.

i like the direction you have went. it's starting to take it's shape. when i see older cars like this, i always think mexico gangster. Dayton's with low profile tire's,except they put whatever kinda power plant they get there hands on, lol. tons of engraving all over the place with a large amount of color's used throughout the paint job. any direction reflects on the next one. kinda hard to say what rim's to use when wanting to be recognized,and who recognizes the car. i'm watching no matter what!!

Bottom end will support 400 hp. P pumps are great to modify plunger size and with bigger injector flow, a cam, proper turbo, and even head porting you can have a bad ass motor that will roll coal with the best of them.

Do not DUB the car out. Over-sized (disproportionate) wheels distracts from all the hard work you put into the body. 17s front, 18s rear is a nice balance - but the 15s also work, but a Barret Jackson grade car needs custom wheels. No off road junk. Great build so far. Love how this is going !

I've always wondered about a 4bt swap. Put a 4L80E behind it and you'll really get good fuel mileage. ;)

the 4bt will make 1000hp. I will say I was wrong when you said off road wheels I was thinking you were looking for all wheel drive. I still would go with the hot rod wheels

You need to mess w the comet still somewhat. Racecars will make your name, that is always going to be the ultimate proving ground.

Race cars matter to a small percentage of people. I find no joy in racing the car. Not gonna do what I don’t enjoy. I’d sale it right now if I could for a fair dollar. I enjoyed the build and proud of the level of car I built but in my eyes it’s done and that accomplishment has been achieved. My brain doesn’t see or feel reward in driving it. I’m building another vehicle bc I want to prove to myself that again I can learn the unknown and build something unique. When this one’s done there will be no reason to keep it long term bc I’ll have either accomplished or failed at my goal. If I fail I’ll redo it till I feel I succeeded then the goal will be complete and I can sale it and move on to another build.

Watch a few episodes of welder up. He makes some stupid power and torque with these. And you find out companies that have adapters for different transmisson from manual to automatics
