Dirt Rock Empire is proud to announce the signing of Iowa born and Richmond, VA transplant Big Buzz. This announcement comes along with the debut of a brand new video for the song "Country Fried" featuring The Lacs. The song is the title track from Big Buzz's upcoming full-length Dirt Rock debut album of the same name, which is expected to surface in Fall 2021. The Breadwin Deville directed video was shot at Classic’s Sports Bar And Grill in Hudson, FL and serves up a new country-rap party anthem.
Big Buzz has taken stories from his life and used them as a vehicle to paint a portrait of the streets, his pain, and the struggle to survive. His sound blurs the line between genres fusing together elements of country, rap, and rock into one musical melting pot. His fans connect with Big Buzz's honesty and authenticity as he grinds with blue-collar work ethic to spread his music to the masses. Big Buzz's commitment to his music is forever etched into his skin with the honeycomb cells inked onto the side of his face as a constant reminder to stay focused.
Big Buzz's sticky musical chemistry has allowed him to collaborate with some giants of the genre including Bubba Sparxx, Nappy Roots, Cypress Springs, and Struggle Jennings. His video for "Never Fold" featuring Struggle Jennings went viral on KZfaq amassing half a million views and counting in just a matter of months.
The Lacs established their own label Dirt Rock Empire as a way to empower artists and quickly became one of the hottest independent labels in the genre. The label launched with the compilation album "Dirtbagz, Vol. 1". The album spawned The Lacs biggest hit "Dirt Road Dollars", which has gone on to become an anthem for blue-collar America and generated over 46 million spins on KZfaq and 27 million spins on Spotify. Dirt Rock Empire has released classic albums from Crucifix, Nate Kenyon, Hard Target, Wess Nyle, and more.
