I got one of these ST line selects new in April. It has the upgraded tech pack, the 250hp engine, and the B&O sound system. Absolutely love everything about it

I have an ST-Line Select in Vapor Blue Metallic. Wow is it amazing. It drives nice, and (in my opinion) it looks cool.

Agreed. We just picked up a pearl white ST Select and am pretty happy with it. The only thing that I would've liked better is if it was $38k not $41k

I never thought I would be hoping something had a 2 L turbo charged engine in it, but in today's market where small three cylinder engines are becoming more common, this 2 L sounds like the one to get!

I do drive a 2020 Ford Escape SE in black for a little bit over a year. I do liked the 2023 which is pretty sweet. It did took me a couple of weeks in getting used to my vehicle. I really liked it when it is black.

Price seems to have already been adjusted. These were coming in at $42-$45k for the upper trims when they first came out! I guess Ford decided that they wanted to actually SELL a few of these! Much easier to consider now, at this price point.

Regarding legroom figures, I have heard that Ford measures differently, to put it politely. I think that total legroom is probably the best number to use, like what Alex on autos does. Theoretically that way they can't cheat on the one measurement because it would reflect on the next measurement.

Hey Guys.. love what you do.. The content quality is really amazing. However I wish you guys had an updated link which we could look into. Just to see the cars with lowest internal cabin noise. Smile level reading. Comfort level. Audio quality. All those. So we could sort it accordingly to price. I understand there could be a whole lot of cars. But at least recently updated would be really good. As in 2022- 2023 would also work 😊.

@@CarConfections Hey 👋. Thank you so much for responding. I saw the link and it does really help. The only issue with the link is that it's separate for each category of vehicles and not the whole list. It would be really helpful if we had the whole list and a filter for sorting according to average price( Example: cars above 30 K). Also your opinion does matter by including Slam dunk and Airball review. It's just a suggestion. You guys still do an amazing job. 😊

@trenton737 That's really strange. According to Ford, that's not the case. 1st Quarter 2023 Escape sales is 21k down from 1st Quarter 2022 at almost 40k. That is a 47% drop and is always a great measure to show how people feel about it, not very positive. The Bronco Sport 1st Quarter 2023 sales is just about 30k, and thats a 3% increase over the same 1st quarter in 2022. Facts Matter LOL Oops 😬 🤭 🤣 😂 😃

@@allanzylbert1306 Yeah, there was a software issue at the KY plant earlier this year causing a delay on Escape production, but Ford Authority has posted total ytd sales (including 2nd quarter) and Escape now outsells the Bronco Sport again.

We got our new SUV from the local Mitsubishi Dealer ...Wonderfull helpfull friendly staff...Unlike the staff at the Ford dealer across the road who couldnt care less...Up yours Mr Ford...Melbourne.. Australia...Refused to service my low miles show room condition Tickford Ghia...Sevice manager said we dont work on old cars...What goes around comes around Ford service centre Arseholes...

Love the st lines. Why are not the screens considered blocking the vision n vehicle. Some states consider some screen like in a gps as blocking vision. And you can't have them on windows.

I'm putting my order in next month for the 2024 PHEV. Since I can't get a stupid Rav 4 Prime I'm sticking with the Ford. My current 2013 C-MAX phev is going to be a hand me down car and still runs great.

@@chezzyperson3339 Four major issues with the Korean made suvs, number one reliability, I just keep hearing nightmares on the quality. Their turbocharged engines and transmissions are just not reliable. Number two, car insurance is extremely high on them, number three the dealer markups are insane, and the very last annoyance for me would be the lack of wireless Android auto. I wouldn't have these issues on the Ford.

It annoys me so much that a lot of cars nowadays don’t have consistent interior door inlays.. there’s trim up front but where is the trim for the back? Ughhhh.. makes the back look so bare

Hopefully they fixed the cylinder head problem on the 4 cylinder Ecoboost engines.... Too soon

They fixed the problem in 2020 and it actually wasn't with the cylinder head it was the block itself ford redesigned the first in 2015 going from a closed deck block to a open deck block for more cooling to try and get more power out of it. They wanted to cool i between the cylinders so they cut slits in between the cylinders with didn't give the head gasket anything to seal against and also caused cylinders 2 and 3 to crack also which was the failure point. In 2020 ford redesigned the block again they kept the open deck cooling but instead of the slits they cross drilled a pin hole in between the cylinders hence giving the head gasket more surface area to seal to. 2020 plus engines don't have coolant intrusion problem.

The button at 9:48 is the most useless button I've ever seen. There is a vertical bar... just put the buttons in the vertical bar and save a tap.

I’d look at the competition with the new recall on the 2.5L Hybrid and PHEV where the motor could fail and/or oil and fuel vapors could ignite catching the engine on fire. “Recall no.23V380000 Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Escape, 2022-2023 Maverick, and 2021-2023 Corsair vehicles equipped with 2.5L HEV or PHEV engines. In the event of an engine failure, engine oil and fuel vapor may be released into the engine compartment and accumulate near ignition sources such as hot engine or exhaust components, possibly resulting in an engine compartment fire.”

@@Jcruzer70 The Colorado& Canyon have physical HVAC controls just below their touchscreens. GM, in their infinite wisdom, eliminated the physical light switch. Although, having been in a Colorado (the on/off light switch is constantly displayed as a tiny circle icon on the touchscreen), it wasn't nearly as obtrusive as no physical HVAC buttons.

I think I would go with the Kia Sportage SX Prestige hybrid for the same price. Better warranty, interior, rear legroom, and features. Not as much power but better fuel economy.

I am I the only one who finds the Bronco Sport overpriced and highly overrated? I considered a new Ford Escape I considered a new broncosport I considered going upscale with the Lincoln Corsair. I wanted the 2.0 l EcoBoost with a factory tow package. Was it broncos sport If you plan on going off-roading and that's what you want then go for it. You're paying a lot of extra money for off-road suspension, off-road tires, that transmission with true 4WD capability and off road tires kills the fuel economy. To get the 2 l EcoBoost in the bronco sport You're looking at the Badlands passage or heritage package. You will pay low 40s to mid 40's price range. Interestingly the tow rating of Bronco Sport is 2200 lbs max with 2.0L . The fuel economy is 26 MPG with 2.0L. A completely fully loaded Escape is cheaper with 2.0L engine. Low 40's at most. Can be had with 2.0L engine from about $37,000 with ST select trim. Fuel economy is 31 MPG with 2.0L EcoBoost. Factory tow package you can tow 3,500 lb. The Lincoln Corsair is upscale obviously. It starts in the high 30's. It can be had with factory tow package. You can towl a max of 3,000 lb. The only economy is 30 MPG FWD. 28 MPG AWD. Price was not my limiting factor. I just recently bought a new 2024 Lincoln Corsair with factory tow package. It is a unicorn to find a Corsair with factory tow package unless you specifically special order. And, there it sat! Corsair Reserve, collection 2 package, no panaramic roof, factory tow package. IMO the $scape is highly underrated. Everyone wants the Bronco sport for the cool factor and unimpressive to me.

I disagree on the rims! I don't like the machined finish that has become so popular lately and this is one of the worst looking. The standard ST-line wheels look better BUT the top of the line ST-line wheels look the best, sadly only available on the ST-line Elite trim.

Bought a 2022 Honda crv and for the money and QUALITY IN WORKMANSHIP. Honda wins hands down. I have owned 3 previouse escapes and all of them had recalls, workmanship fails and overall poor quality
