I’m so excited for you!!! It’ll make your summer that much more enjoyable! My daughter teaches at the same campus I do and she is a 2nd grade teacher. She absolutely loves it! I taught 3rd grade and 5th grade for years. I really enjoy those age groups! Now, I am out of the classroom and in a dyslexia specialist position, so I see all grade levels for elementary. It’s such a blessing! I hope you have a wonderful summer break! Sleep in and do absolutely nothing girl! 💕

Congratulations on completing your first year of teaching. Find something that you did from your first year and place it on your desk or post it on a wall next to your desk so that you can remember how far you have come. You will always remember your students from your first year. Best of luck to you in second grade. Any books by Dave Shannon are great for second grade.
