My dad favourites song I lost him when i was 18 I'm now 31 and this song never gets old. It does open old wounds but I never felt so happy. Thank you for this

I'm not sure any of you really understand BC and Stuart. I heard them in 1983 and was hooked. I loved the Skids. But Stuart became a poet beyond his years. He educated us all. What was fast is now undone. A broken heart needs someone new to blame it on. I miss Stuart every day. I am a youthful adult I guess. I cannot bear to be apart from this music and yet it hurts me when I listen. I don't have anyone who understands BC.

His troubles came out in his music along with his soul. Look at "Wonderland." Part of it says leave me alone I am who I am, human just like you. Part of it "If you could feel what I must feel," is his personal struggle. He's reaching out to us to the world. Then he says it's ok with "And you will take my hand and be with me in Wonderland." It evokes emotion. It's meant to! Let them come forth and shine. Be who you are! Stuart would want it that way!

I was lucky enough to meet Stuart when Big Country played in Sir Henry’s in Cork in Ireland way back in 1995 on the Why The Long Face tour. He was an absolute gentleman and so down to earth. I was such a fan I was completely start struck! Rest In Peace Stuart, you will always be remembered.❤️

What a brilliant songwriter he was. His music had power and emotion and meaning. Whenever I'm feeling low, Big Country is like a comforting friend. Stuart touched our lives with his passion and earnestness. RIP Stuart. May your restless soul have found the peace you couldn't find in life.

your so lucky to have met stuart in your life. I'm 14 too, and by the time I heard this amazing band, well, it was too late. Probably one of the defiant things I'd do if I could go back in time. RIP Stuart, you are an idol for musicians and artists of any kind

The video was shot at Kings Canyon, NT, Australia....Stuart was a genius. The Edge has said that he was influenced by Stuart. Great song by a hugely underrated band.

One of the best bands to ever come out of the 80s. It is very sad that such a talented singer/musician like Stu had to leave us at such a young age. Seems to happen to far too many. God bless ya lad. RIP and thanks for the wonderful music.

One of my favourite B.C songs ever, totaly dreamy, they should have played at live aid when they were asked and become as big as U2, Stuart might still have been with us now, still sadly missed.

From one of the most underrated albums ever imho 'Peace In Our Time', which is up there with the best of the best. Full of beautiful intricate melodies, a huge variety of instruments and sounds, and great rhythms that conjure up beautiful landscapes and take you right there. Stuart was clearly a special sensitive guy that the world got the better of sadly, lets just hope he's gone onto better things, your soul will live on forever, as will the beautiful music of BC, especially this album-rip.

Hi Alex, no you are quite right and am I a musician? "I wish" would be the answer. Apologies for previous comment re tech items used as I expect that SA would have used his share of this type of gear. I just recall seeing the floor console that the Edge used on a documentary years back and it was a little like something from NASA.This may have been in their Zooropa phase and the music struck me as being a little "laboratory produced". Respect to these guys though as I do have a few U2 albums.:)

Many thanks, I first heard U2 in 1980 when the first album was released. From what I read the Edge was influenced by Stuart Adamson and his playing style. I first heard Stuart Adamson when the first Skids album was released in 1978 and have been hooked ever since. Yes I quite agree with your comment about Steve Lillywhite and felt that BC sounded best (as did U2) when produced by Steve Lillywhite.Stuart Adamson was the first guitarist I was ever really drawn to (at 13).Where are you from Alex?
