Yeah, but he ACTUALLY cleared his stash. BG just got tired of scrolling for 25 minutes to get down to the arena/alliance crystals.

I'm like 99% sure the map 1 and 2 crystals came from when they delayed the peak rewards released and they put everyone in the beginner bracket.
