Red Ivan was a great Character pity he didn't feature in more matches but this was later in the 80's just before it got taken off tv in 88.

collins made his debut at the age of 16. i once saw very young collins sleepered by a grizzled veteran twice his size. throughout his career collins always sold beautifully.

How the ref and the commentator missed Big Daddy pushing Drew over I'll never know! Most bouts with Big D were fiascos.

danny went on to develop more than an impressive physique. he and many brit pros debuted as young as 16 years old.

it's a very predictable big daddy match. i was always amazed how 16 year olds like danny could get so thoroughly into their ring persona, as if they were at least in their early 20s.

I may be 10 years late, but yes, Red Ivan wrestled as Vladimir Krupoff and Rich Krupa, mostly in Canada (as alluded to on commentary). He was Canadian, not Russian.
