Kane is simply showing love and appreciation to a phenomenon that was already there, and around the entire world quite frankly. Kane came to Russia to celebrate with people who already loved Hip Hop. Amazing performance! Kane is the most PROFESSIONAL MC in the game. In Instagram, he said that his luggage was lost en route to this show. He copped a Heineken t-shirt at the airport and still tore the house down. That speaks volumes. Long live the KANE.

4 days after this show, Kane came out on stage at the Eric B. and Rakim show I was at in Raleigh, NC. He didn't do any songs but the crowd went berserk when he came out. I almost pissed myself I was so excited. He is absolutely killing it in this video and he's showing why he is so respected. Whether you like current hip hop or golden age you can not deny Kane has more skills at age 50 than the vast majority of clowns slinging rap today. No doubt. I'm 52 years old in rural Pennsylvania and I cannot get enough of this video. If I had 4 hands I would give this 4 thumbs up...I mean damn....

Big Daddy Kane and Rakim imo are both the GOAT of hip-hop imo. "Aint no half Steppin" was something human ears had no concept of how dope words could sound put together. Somehow BDK was able to pull off a light hearted yet incredibly ominous instrumental - something human ears on June 21st 1988 could not get enough of; allowing him to STILL be the only hip-hop artist to sell out the World Famous Apollo Theater - not once - but TWICE to an all female audience. No rapper has even done it once. He also did the Madona "SEX BOOK" photo shoot with Naomi Campbell. Kane THE MAN in the late 80's and 90's when the golden age took off. He was literally rap's Mick Jagger. KANE is the GOAT of Hip-hop imo. "Women want him and men wanted to be him" Big Daddy Kane - King Asiatic Nobodies Equal is the GOAT. Kane was this master lyricist, battle rapper, as well as showman who could DANCE. He was the ENTIRE PACKAGE. Big Daddy Kane was Biggie Smalls, Big L, AND Jay Z's idol/influence; while Rakim was Tupac, Nas, and Eminem's. Nuff said: Kane and Rakim both the GOAT.
