I thought I did alright here, but we don't really trial run decks before a show. I thought a toned down Acererak would be fun and continue the mono colored theme but it just wasn't quite enough. You're entitled to your opinion of course, but I think the long history of decks I've made for shows says otherwise. Thanks for watching! - Ben

So I'm working on losing weight and started jogging. I found that if I watch about seven turns of EDH with most channels it's between 25-30 minutes, which is pushing it for me. Somehow y'all got me to jog for a full dang hour. Thank you all for talking so much and being entertaining to the point where I can lose track of time like that.

1:23:25 weird point about goad: the creature is goaded until the upkeep of the person who goaded the creature. Graham goading Danitha during Cameron’s combat doesn’t do much as the goad fades at Grahams next upkeep. This is so that it “counters”extra combats/turns.

ordering question: at 27m, when Nelson creates a treasure token in response to the Kenrith's Transformation, is he able to use that treasure token for Pyrohemia to get a second proc off of the raptor before it becomes an elk? couldn't tell what nelson was saying at 27:30

I've been correcting people on the "Kindred is the card type, Typal is the deck archetype" thing for what feels like months now, but I feel as though I just need to accept that Kindred being used for both is just going to be etched into magic player canon from now on, even if it still sounds wrong to me.

As much humming and haring the magic community likes to give about terminology changes, they usually get over it before the month is over, just like almost everything else magic players hum and har about. It really is a children's card game, it's just that those children are usually in their 20's and 30's

"Typal" sounds infinitely worse than "Kindred" so I'm just going to use the one that makes me cringe less. And naming things after the words on the cards has been done since the start of magic. Tutor? Ramp?
