Big elm (Ulmus minor) first styling a few months after collection - Arkefthos Bonsai - 4K

2 жыл бұрынWhile this tree was collected in early March 2021, it's so healthy and vigorous that it can be styled for the first time and set the structure for the future bonsai. The roots have developed so nicely that in late summer they were coming out of the drainage holes of the wooden box. In March 2022 it will be placed in it's first bonsai pot. Thank you for your time!

Beautiful tree, I think that you must cut more drastic the branches

Thank you! Yes, you are right. I need to start healing the big wounds and in June I will cut hard most of them. Lower need to thicken a bit first.

Gracias! Yes it's an Olmo minor. It grows around my garden, in the forest, under Abies cephalonica trees.
