In F-Zero GX, the Big Fang is a pretty fast machine. And it's been known to be eager to drift. However, it does have some strengths that are overlooked.

Such an all around great machine. Cool character, cool car, cool theme song, strong body, fast as hell, controls well enough.

One of my favorite characters, and the Lightning track from AX is hands-down my favorite course in this game. I've raced *so many* laps on that course and it's so fun how you can just boost non stop over and over because of all the heal strips.

Fun fact: In max speed, Big Fang is one of the 5th fastest machines in the game and Sonic Phantom is number 6. So both of these machines are powerful and fast

Ah, my favorite A grip machine is here. Yeah the stats are a lie, but it makes it better since it's now fast compared to it's X counterpart. It use to be by 2nd favorite machine (it's 3rd now), but Big Fang will always have a soft spot with me. Now Great Star is my 2nd favorite, due to how fun it's MTS is.

I consider Bio Rex to be the powerful-careless type of machine. Play with the intention to be aggressive but once you have to recover. Is when the challenge truly kicks in.

I absolutely love Big Fang. High speed, crazy cornering, good stability, great body and reasonable boost all bundled together? What more could you ask for?! Acceleration maybe but this car is still good without it!

Especially when many tracks favor High Speed. Such as Thunder Road, Trident, or Dragon Slope.

It just occurred to me that Bio Rex has possibly MURDERED someone with that machine. I know there's been several major accidents during the F-zero, but christ you don't see Blood Falcon doing it

The Big Fang is a prime example about how this game lies about vehicle stats. It states that it has an A rank in grip but it feels more like it has a D or an E rank in grip.

There's a little web graph next to the machine's name in the menu.

@@spearmintpony7105 are you referring to the pick-up graph or the little square that you see when you highlight a machine in the shop that shows it's different stats? If so, neither of those outline the vehicle's grip

Big Fang was good for me in GPL, on Climax tho? Hmmm... maybe since I know the physics better, I'll get to like it.

Big Fang I'd say is still good to use in Climax. You just have to be very careful against tracks boasting several turns...like Big Billow. Top speed is great. It also handles decently well too, and has a good speed if in the air.

Funny how both Goroh and Bio Rex have the same actor.

@@custom-r I guess it's Ryan Drees aggressive voice. Heck in Virtua Fighter 4 and 5, Jeffry sounds exactly like Samurai Goroh and Bio Rex. But he did give Antonio Guster a different voice.
