Dara does do well on these, but I was pretty shocked to see how much Maya seemed to be helping him! He hasn't really done enough of these to know for sure but I think he's more of like a Wossy/Brydon/Mitchell/Jupitus/etc... type rather than some kind of Sandi Toksvig-style quiz expert.

They have so many of these shows that I love with just their comedians. Like Cats does Countdown, Would I lie, and this. I wish they would do an American version for all, but I can’t really see it with our comedians. It just works so great with their comedians and their styles.

I don't think it would work the same sadly. Not because Americans wouldn't work in this setup, Chelsea Peretti and Kirsten Schaal adapted brilliantly to the format and were great, but American TV just works different.
