Yes, I really loved this movie. It took me a couple times to get through it the first time I saw it, because I wasn't really paying attention. Then a few years after it came out, I watched it beginning to end and I was crying by the end. Anyone who's had a father they never really connected with can understand.

Ever since I saw this for the first time, it immediately became my second favorite movie of all time (beaten only by Roger Rabbit). You were right about Tim Burton being the only director for this movie. I see this movie as a love letter to the whole concept of stories and the story tellers, how they can inspire us, add some wonder to the world, or simply just make us happy. It’s visually beautiful, written creatively, and heartwarming to the bone. 10/10. Can’t wait to watch again.
