Sir i respectfully disagree. There is no "pattern" in upsc paper. After last year everyone was expecting either a similar level difficulty or even more. But look what we got. I think the only advice/set pattern is the basic books still cover 30 questions. Thats it. There is no "hidden" pattern which needs to be disclosed. Ye upsc ke "pattern" ke chakkar me bhot aspirants galat sources pe time waste karte hain. No one knows maybe next year cutoff bas 65 jaye. Upsc leaves no "hints" for aspirants for the next year, this is pure clickbait and mis guidance. And sadly students keep falling for it idk why.

Sir, mere khal se type of options se zyda problematic ye hota h ki question ki depth kitni h... Last year, 2023 me, questions ki depth bhot thi... Like states k MLAs ki voting power ko compare krna... Itni depth me na to koi pdhta h or na hi padhna sense bnata h because ye general knowledge ka paper hota h jisme itni in-depth knowledge sense ni bnati... Type pf options se ek baar ko adjust kiya jaa skta h... But agr questions ki vastness ki koi limit hi na rhe to tukke lgane k alawa kch ni ho skta

If upsc is asking ranks based question on defence then they can also asking ranks in civil sevices. IAS IPS IFS IRS etc. It is completely not making any sense for selection in civil services.

The main aim of UPSC is to defeat coaching centres. It is a service not a job. So they need young people who have aptitude. UPSC check not the knowledge but aptitude, presence of mind, reasoning, analytical skills. So whoever fails continuously in 3 attempts must quit. Young people must come.

@@nikunjbakhalkiya9976 see , nobody can predict the exact cuttoff but the nature of the paper this year was moderate to touch,,, and considering that fact most probably the cutt off would range from 105 to 115 ( general)

Just keep on working hard..if u have faith in yourself and you are working hard.. writing as many ans as u could and focussing on writing 3 hr paper in time bound manner than you will sail through!

@@Mr.Layoff i m not in a service as i m just 20 odd😅but my friends brother he is anirudh yadav ias last year have said that mains is more about writing complete paper with decent ans in time bound manner.. that's what will help u to sail through it bcz completing mains itself is a sniff task!
