I did ten years behind them walls... and the politics they're talking about is real. I went back and forth to hole. It didn't really click to me where i was until i went to the parole board and my paper work said " secure housing unit"... like oh shit, I'm in the SHU! I been out 9 years... my son just turned 8 and has never seen me get arrested. He's never had to visit me thru glass, or talked to me thru a jail call. My boss and corporate folks at my job could never imagine the life i used to live. I wasn't the hardest guy on the yard, but i wasn't a punk...i was active. Lessons are learned, life is a blessing.
