Today I was in Holland Park in Brisbane and went to Big Jims Takeaway to try their Fish and Chips. Let's see what its like when I give it a review!

I opened google on my phone and this was a suggestion. I used to watch you with my brother before he passed away in 2021. I was missing him in particular today and this came up. You haven't changed lol, I subscribed this time.

Not far from our joint here uh GregO and glad you enjoyed the devour and scenery of the old Whites Hill dump that would have adds to the flavour and I spent many a day there scavenging with me old man back in the ‘80s uh… worth a shot at that price I reckon… cheers Gibbo

Looks good Greg! Poor me, I am eating boiled potato's with butter, cheese and carrot/cauli, and porterhouse steak, whilst watching! Ok this steak is good, but those fish and chips look great as well! I need tartare but I love some tomato sauce with my chippies.

Yay... A 'fish and chip sunday' Might not have been your best, but it certainly was better than a piece of dirty Basa. I said tartare test 6 times fast and it sounds like a shopping trolley with a bung wheel 🛒 🤤👍

Those chips looked so good. I do a new thing with the frozen chips now, air fry em just when they are crisp and throw em in a decent heated shallow oil fry on the pan for a cuppa and bobs ya builder mate

Grego - you fooled me, you said 'I found a lovely elevated area to eat my fish and chips in today', referring to the elevated grass area across the road, and then spent the whole review in car parking area? Actually looks like the batterd fish from aldi grego here in the uk you should check them out get 4 in a box great value for home made a 3rd of the price as well chip chops here in the uk are just taking the piss with prices you can get charged up to £13.50 u/k ripp off

Just curious, what is "Tartare Sauce"? We have Tarter Sauce in the states. Is what you have different? The way it's spelled almost looks like what we call Steak Tartare, or raw steak.
