My grandmother just passed away two days ago and how ironic I came across this comment on here. This is one of my favorite KRIT songs I never saw this until now. Glad I’m not the only one who’s been through this before and knowing KRIT was able to do all of this definitely is inspiring to move forward. I’ll never look at this video the same way again

An all time favorite song of mine. I'll still be bumping this when my bratty shit-headed little grandchildren visit me, and they'll talk shit about my music and I'll snap back with some old man "back in my day" shit and then we'll eat some good ass food their grandmother makes and then I'll whoop their ass in some NBA 2k51

6 years ago this was the first Krit I heard. I remember giving up on the new hip hop ish... I turn my radio off. And I was on Hiphopdx looking at Album reviews. I end up seeing this 5/5 review on KRIT wuz Here and it said the dude from Mississippi.... So I was like let me go and listen to this mixtape. HOOKED EVER SINCE. Krit made me love hip hop again, made me forget about the radio and just look up artist on the net instead of waiting on TV and radio.

Leave it up to KRIT to flip an Adele song and make it sound like this. Underrated as a rapper with lines like "winner's never lose, so how dare you confuse us/ they quote what I spit like Confucius," but he's also egregiously slept on as a producer.
@SicilianAmericanDreams2 жыл бұрын
What's the name of the Adele song please? I heard it on Grey's anatomy the other day and was confused but I thought he made this beat from scratch but no worries I still love BK
@pierrecroy2 жыл бұрын
@Kaya Polizzi the Adele song is Hometown Glory. He sampled it. Sampling has always been super common in hip hop, and most of Krit’s beats are sampled. Definitely not a reason to love him any less.

Big Krit is a lyricist that`s without a doubt. For a southern folk it`s very rare and inspiring. Hip Hop is in goods hands with him around and alive. I`m a big fan Big Brother Krit.
@jasonbelona52977 жыл бұрын
wtf u mean "for a southern folk, it's very inspiring" ??? obviously u are NOT from the South and have formed your opinion on such "folk" from movies and media which is CONTROLLED. I ... on the other hand, (being born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and a business owner and traveler all over this country for the last decade) can speak from personal experience. MOST PEOPLE from the South are wiser , more intelligent people who practice hospitality and are naturally more physically and mentally talented than the"folks" in other parts of the country .. who fashion themselves to be "above" others, NOT EVEN KNOWING who the true enemy is! #ijs
