I do have a strong feeling something in the game actually gatekeeps certain minis from chests,im very close to getting to 3rd arena,and I stayed a lot of time in it,i still don't have bea or medic and my only epics are archer queen and witch

That… or you can concentrate all your progress on witch or queen. I got my queen level 3 very fast because i didn’t own many epics. So there two sides to the coin

Barbarian king > queen though > witch The witch kinda shines in the lower arenas but when you get the ultra/super version, it doesnt work very well For the queen shes good but barbarian king's super rage is so much better compared to the xbow spell

If you don’t collect these epics at all, then you’ll be able to get barbarian king upgraded much quicker. It takes patience but it’s worth being able to crush people with a super barbarian king early

if you have the witch in the pass thing, you wouldnt be able to get her in chests, same thing with the archer, so theres no point is holding off collecting them.

you wont be able to unlock her from the chest but once you grab her you can get additional copies from the chest

Yea well, to anyone who pre-registered for this game and started playing it after its global launch: Don't worry about this since the game gives you a pre-registration reward which includes an epic chest so basically you get the barbarian king right away

Too late but Fortunately I got the barbarian king a few days ago. Now I'm hoping to get Hog Rider. I always get busted early in the match because the opponent have hog rider. I think it is one of the best character in the game. Man I am already level 40 without the hog rider 😢

I think it's strong on the grass arenas, but not really the sandy one since it gets its boost on grass. It is 1 of the better speedster characters imo, but you're definitely not just busting early bc you don't have it and opponents do. Most matches I don't pick it early even if I see it bc I'm more focused on dmg and resource collection. It's more of a midgame pick for me, and definitely healing is a priority over hogrider imo
