I’m personally not religious, but I did keep big ounce in my thoughts and tried praying for him because I do care about the boy. And if you genuinely believe it helps, it definitely can’t do any harm for me to try and be one more person supporting him in that way

It was the year 1901, Australia had just federated and I had just been let out of prison on a technicality for committing crimes in the dutch east indies. Big ounce was there to help me learn a trade, I now own land and have lived to the age of 15 years old and now own a house thanks to big ounce. What a hero.

Hey Uncle Ben, I recommend covering the sides and back of the croc's enclosure with something like a fish tank background so it can feel safer and more hidden to reduce stress. Its something that people do with many other reptiles :)

Might get a specialty vet to see if any of the missing teeth are impacted on the inside because normally they grow back if they lose them but they might be ingrown :( Good luck Ben

Big Ounce is an anomaly among Prairie Dogs. Glad to hear he’s doing a lot better and didn’t need surgery. Also the Morlett’s Crocodile I’m sure will have some of Big Ounce’s healing powers blessed upon it. Now that it’s alone and away from the Nile Croc it was kept with, it should do better now that it doesn’t have to compete for food. Glad to hear it’s going to a sanctuary when it’s bigger.

So glad you got that croc, Uncle Ben, he probably wouldn’t have made it much longer where he was. I’ve had Texas longhorns my whole childhood and they probably would make a great addition to your farm. They are heavy duty grass eaters and as long as you get cows (which still have horns and get plenty big!) they are pretty calm. So long as they don’t have calves to protect

Also I love that the first thing you did was take that poor little crocodile to some reptile experts! And that they then came and helped you set up his new home. I’m really hoping for the best for him 🐊💕

Hey Uncle Ben! I've heard from a few of my reptile breeders that rat pups are more nutritious than pinkies. Pinkies have more fat with less nutrition, but if the little baby can only handle smaller prey, it may be all you can give. If the croc will eat rat pups halved though, that could be a great way to get his weight up and growing fast. I hope they recover soon! I know little croc is in better hands now 💙

I just wanted to say that I absolutely adore this channel, all of the animals, and everything that you are doing and have done for them...if I wasn't all the way in AZ, my son and I would come over and help you with all these wonderfully creatures and your massive list of chores that you do by yourself. I'm a single mom, which is a lot of work, and your farm reminds me a bit of being a single parent of multiple kids, or in your case, many MANY creature-children lol. It is a lot of work, sometimes I wake up and the thought of how much I have to do that day can be incredibly overwhelming and depressing ... but watching your videos makes me smile and gives me a break for a bit.. and just like parenting, it is hard work but can bring so much joy. I also wanted to say that I love your amazing group of followers. They are kind, loving, hilarious, and supportive of you, and usually each other too. When someone casually mentions they are having a hard time, and depressed, random strangers speak up to show support and kindness that honestly can be so helpful when you are suffering. That is hard to find online in most comment sections, but is a regular thing here on your videos and with your group of followers. You have created something really special with your farm, your hard work and love that you pour into these creatures AND your community of followers. Thank you Uncle Ben, and friends.
