I remember being in Mrs. Sheldon with Big Pokey when I sang The Negro National anthem. He supported my talents since High School and allowed me and Big Moe to sing on My favorite song from him called Shady Game. It's so hard. The game is shady. Hawk was also in the studio. When I was going to Southern University in Baton Rouge in the early 2000's there was a lot of freestyle conversations and I remember many of times brothers talking about Big Pokey the freestyle king. And im not talking about SUC freestyle king.... We talking about all artist in general. Big Pokey was super popular back then and still is today. We need a last collab called "The Last Grey Tape" nothing but freestyles slowed down from Pokey, Kay K, E.S.G, Al D, Lil Keke, Z-Ro, Lil Flip, Courtney (Botney Boys), Herschlewood Hardheadz, and all of the original Screwed Up Click members from 1998 or 1999 and earlier only rapping how y'all did back then on the Screw tapes, have Michael Watts slow it down. I was in Abliene at that time. I remember those days, I was going to McMurry and Pokey was at Abilene Christian. Pokey had a potna named Mouton who went to McMurry also and when he would come back from Houston he had Screw tapes to sell. Those were the good ole days.
