Iv ran the HDs in my truck for 4ish years ever since i leveled it to avoid squat. They are fantastic for anyone looking into it. Have put roughly 2400 lbs of pumpkins in my bed(done it a few times) and honestly couldn't even tell they were there. Pumped up the bags and cruised the 45 minutes home zero issues and the ride quality was great. Well worth the $150

Put the other 70 in it to get you through Moparty, then send the squeaky 70 that's in it now off to get rebuilt and beefed up!

One thing you can do while it’s super easy, is address those leaky cabin vents while the bed is off. It’s a small thing compared to everything you are doing but, when water get in a the cabin smells you’ll wish you knocked it out.👍🏾

Try disconnecting one of the trans oil lines and see if there is oil flowing through the pump. Double check the tork converter bolts. I'm not 100% sure on the hp70/90 trans but I know on some trans when putting in the converters there should be a seating click or pop then turn 1/4 turn and a second seating click/pop and on some even a third pop before the converter is fully seated. Just throwing some ideas. Unfortunately the trans would have to come out to double check the converter anyway. Hoping its something stupid simple or maybe it just needs to be driven a little down the road and let it work itself out.

I would check the torque converter (maybe it’s rubbing in the pump or something with bolt up.) or the flex plate. Maybe your flex plate is cracked or rubbing.

I wonder if some how the hell cat engine causes higher trans pressure at idle. Maybe the torque converter isn’t happy. It definitely seems like a at temp issue also. I wonder if a higher stall converter would change anything?

John, I just found out how valuable a dehumidifier in my garage is in central Florida. I can actually go out in the garage and work without pouring sweat. One day I’ll get a large shop built with some HVLS fans and a dehumidifier. I don’t mind the dry heat!

the squeeking sounds like the oil pump in the trans is smashed into the shaft. the 8hp need about 1/4" gap between the converter and flex plate when the converter is fully seated. it will pull the converter splines back off the pump when bolted up. when the pressure builds up it sounds like it pushes the converter back on the shaft a bit and the squeeking stops. ive built a few 8hp swapped cars and ive heard similar noises when my trans oil pump went out.

You need to be able to isolate the two airbags. If they are completely tandem, when you turn, air will flow from the outside bag to the inside bag and you will have exaggerated body roll.

possibly air in the trans lines as others have suggested since it went away there on the last start up , i was going to suggest unbolting the torque converter from the flywheel and firing it back up to isolate for sure that the noise was coming from the transmission...

When I had my 2019 Ram 1500 limited it made the same noise around the Torque converter, I thought it was odd, but it had no problems when I drove with it sounding like that, I taken it into the Dealership they said it's normal for them to sound that way, I put 47k miles on it no problems with the Transmission.

I'd try driving it after a relearn before swapping it out. May need to work out some air? Who knows but, I hope it works out for the best. Snout bearings are usually pretty easy and that would be killer on the sst build 👍

That’s fine T’ing but the body roll will be bad. Air just shifts from one to the other. I did my bagged trucks like that on the rear but had individual fronts to keep roll to a minimum

Could be the SC? I know with the AC on it'll idle a little higher and in gear and out (N or Park) it'll idle different too. Sounded like it needed to warm up a bit (after the high idle circuit closes) So maybe it would be RPM dependent... I know you were just idling in Park, but after you revved it and it first showed up in that clip, did it change pitch with throttle input after you noticed it?

Actually you can use other fluids in the hp70. I’m running Amsoil fuel efficient signature series in my 17 Ram. Amsoil recommended it and it works fine with my PPE pan. Valvoline maxlife is also recommended for the HP70.

I don't know much about transmissions. But I'd be willing too bet its something to do with your torque converter. It almost sound dry when it's whining. It's weird for it to do it at random. Hopefully it'll work itself out. I know you gotta short time frame to get done an get to moparty

The Exhaust Manifolds, where can I get them and do they make them for the 5.7 Hemi? looking for a cure for the snapped stud issue with the stock ones. its been "repaired" twice since I got the truck in 2016.

Think your safe those trannys are resilient and that noise if from tranny is safe. I've had those noises from the NAG 1 but turned out engine issues.

I googled your tranny symptoms and found this, maybe torque converter. “If you hear a whining noise while your vehicle's transmission is in park or neutral, it could very well be caused by worn needle bearings inside the transmission's torque converter. If these bearings wear out, the transmission will begin to have trouble shifting”

Do these use an inspection cover like the older rams? I had an issue once with the cover getting sightly askew and was rubbing on the flex plate causing an almost identical metallic screeching/whining noise.

Use new blower for now send old bower to KONG to get it rebuilt

I also got a super 10(the muffler included in the outlaw kit) on my ram. I love the sound. Second truck iv had it on. Only other one i would ever think of going with is the AWE system, but its a bit pricy
