BIG Problems, or maybe I should say messy problems? We had a hose blow on the 9560RT bringing cultivating/digging to a stop. The nearest available hose is across the country so we're gonna have to get creative.

Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

1st camera feels better. It can focus better. It seems to me that 2nd one has issues to focus especially in darker scenes. Like aperture goes too open, f number too low, to get as much light as possible but that is making depth of field very low. Than we have sharp Zach or things he is working on, but not both. And it starts to focus in and out. Maybe this can be handled by some settings. The amount of details 2nd one can take is quite impressive. Like 33:49, all the trees and details in soil, but I think it was darker outside than camera is taking.

I'm a retired nurse, but I lived in Northeast Iowa growing up. Almost all of the family was in some business associated with farming, and some had, and still have the family farms. That was in the 60's, then we moved to northern Arkansas. I see the machinery in use today, and it's almost unbelievable to me. I'm so impressed with Zach's children, they all love farming and want to be involved, or at least on the tractor with dad. I look forward to each video.

I'm telling you Zach, set up an air hose just for tires that is connected to a secondary regulator. Set the air pressure you want at the regulator and just go to each tire with the air chuck hooked up to the air line hooked to the secondary regulator. That way, if it needs air, it gets it, if it doesn't need it, then it won't take air. Or get a snap-on or blue point digital inflator and go to each tire with it hooked up to an air line. That way, you check air pressure with the same thing you fill with. Do it all in one swift move.

@@outremer91 Yeah I agree to some extent. We need to stop cutting funding for education so we can get better class sizes to teach kids to their abilities. Impossible to have 40 kids in a class room and not have some bored due to going to too slow and other frustrated due to falling behind. And those kids falling behind are the ones who need the attention and help from the teacher. Not having them waste their time with students causing problems watching KZfaq videos in class.

Same here, the Spradlins left the area in the mid 70s but it’s still referred to as the Spradlin’s place by dad. Sadly part of it is suburbia now, but part of it is still farmed just not by us anymore.

I like the first camera best. Better audio and the second camera started having focus problems too.

Love seeing Onyx really starting to learn to run each new piece of equipment. Camera one was great, I didn't notice the shot being too tight and it always seemed to focus perfectly. It seemed like camera two had a bit clearer picture but the focus, although way better than those last cameras, still struggled a bit. The in tractor shots with camera two seemed good.

It took a while but I'm almost through all the videos from the oldest to the newest. Love the farm and the family. It is great that you are getting all the ins and outs of farming out there. Not on the farm myself anymore but miss it everyday! Just one question, have you guys ever thought about getting someone permanent on the farm that can do electrical, mechanical and help out in the field when there is nothing to fix?

Advice from a truck driver. You want the truck to pick up the trailer when hooking up. If your trucks are equipped with air suspension dumps, leave your landing gear an inch off the ground or blocks and dump your air suspension when disconnecting from the trailer. If they are not equipped with air dumps, leave it an inch off the ground or block and slowly pull out from the trailer and let it slide down the 5th wheel.

I don't use tractors in the field anymore just haul them and some of them have way to much weight on them. If you need that much weight then you are pulling to big and implement. I know everybody wants to get done right now but there is something to be said for taking a little more time and doing it right.
