Just discovered this. Very nice job. I will look forward to seeing more of your work. I hope I never have to get this deeply involved in renovations, but you never know. 76 Glenbrook

Thanks for watching! hope it doesn’t change your opinion too much when you see this is not a renovation.

There are many still available but few that don’t need some maintenance. It’s a commitment and you may need to learn some skills.

Very cool. I blew a head gasket a couple weeks ago. In the process of pulling the front clip now. Hoping to document the process. All the best!

You’re pulling the front clip? As in pulling the motor or dropping the front subframe? Based on what I’ve done, the former would be tough (but many have done it) and the latter would be horrible.

Unbolting and removing the entire engine, transmission, suspension and front frame assembly. I think overall it will be more work, but hopefully more satisfying. Planning to work on engine and transmission, maybe swap out the suspension bushings, paint frame, and serpentine belt conversion? (although I have not heard any good experiences by Motorhome owners for this). I also need to address A/C and environmental control in the cab. Other possibilities may present themselves. I have all winter to work on the assembly inside a heated garage. @@madebyjnd

In thinking about it, I think you're right in proceeding as you are. It would be as tough to pull the engine through that keyhole and then out that little door on the side. Good luck!

Was that a positive cable or the negative

Positive. The negative was bonded to the frame.
