A really huge piece of advice my professor told my class in freshman year of art school was, to take a break. You’re mental health matters more, your work will be there when you come back but you need to be in a better spot mentally so you don’t suffer burnout or declines

Yesssss I’ve recently been on a Tiffany marathon and have watched legit every video so it’s great to see a new one 😄! And after my Tiffany marathon I can say that Tiffany’s life is surrounded by peppermint mocha’s, vegetable buns, boba, cute things, small things, pink things, melon popsicles/lce lollies, juelia jewellery (I’m not sure how to spell that 😅), Starbucks in general. Have a wonderful time in Hawaii! (The weather has been surprisingly nice, the mask restrictions are slowly being let up, and things are pretty much all open again. I live on the Big Island but was on Oahu last week. It was crowded but not as crowded as I remember it being a few years ago.)

Omg i relate sm, i always wanted to do yt and when i was younger my mom didnt want it, and now im 21 and have tried to do yt the last year, thing is i dont have a mic or good camera (the battery sucks and it cuts off videos after 20 min its sooo annoying) which is why i only have a few vids up. Its just too much stress tbh, bc i usually record my mic stuff with my phone with my Headset (which isnt good quality but a lot better than just the camera audio), so editing a video takes even longer, which is why i rarely do it even tho i love it. Ive been binging your channel these past few days again. Its just so cool to see what you do and what art you create, your vlogs are also so relaxing and aesthetic ❤

do y'all think a degree in art/design is worth it? It seems like something I'd enjoy but I can't think of jobs i could use it for (I don't like being a freelancer bc it's not as secure)

I, myself am entering my third year in my degree in animation. To find a job and not be a freelancer you’d have to make connections with the friends you make throughout your 4+ years of college, you can also ask your teachers where and how they started out and where they are now within their field. And you also don’t have to go to art school and make that you soul form of income in the future, you can always keep that as a hobby. But being a freelancer isn’t always secure, you can either have too many projects for companies or none at all but that’s the price of being a freelancer

I think there is definitely a lot of jobs in the art/design field that is not freelance. It's often over looked but majority of large companies actually need artists and designers. Some fields that I can think up from the top of my head are animation, product design, advertisement, graphic design, fashion, game design, interior design, and art director. Of course in all these fields there is the choice to freelance but there are also jobs available in which you can be permanently employed at a company. I think the one major to avoid if you do not want to freelance/be self employed would be fine arts. I hope this is helpful :)

Graphic design can be worth it. Most companies have a in house or out source graphic design department.

Don't play games or stream from a Mac. The OS and hardware limitations will make it entirely too difficult to get anything done. Also, I think it's extremely sad that a lot of people are getting into gaming but don't know anything about Computing - especially Windows. There should be more access to computer literacy because this is essential to our world rn
