We went to the 8th Annual Big River Steampunk Festival in Hannibal Missouri. It is one of, if not THE largest steampunk convention in the US. Hosted by Doc Phineas Kastle, the Skallywags, and lots of local talent, we watched teacup dueling, participated in a costume contest, and tried homeade soda. Christian tried his hand at nerf gun dueling, and Marissa competed in the 1st Annual Steampunk's Got Talent competition. How did she do?? You'll have to watch and see!

It is a really fun festival. The mad with the penny farthing comes each year to the festivals and offers rides. The kids really enjoy it! Hope you have an awesome week!

Thanks for inviting us along to go with the family oh it was fun watching this festival it must’ve been great for the kids I had so much fun watching the kids try to get on that bike I don’t know how they did it but they did that was so funny watching her trying to pedal that giant bike but she did it sort of with a little help somebody pushing her along watch the video from the beginning to the end but the bike was my funnest thing to watch looks like everybody had an awesome good time

Hi Grandma Sandy! Yes, the wonderful man who owns the Penny Farthing (bike) is also gracious enough to push all the kids around on it. It keeps everyone safe, and makes the ride a lot more fun. So glad you enjoyed coming along with us to the festival!

This looks like so much fun! We love steampunk and would have a blast here. There is a steampunk themed restaurant at Universal Orlando that's really fun to visit. A lot of the festivals you have shown have a certain energy to them that's hard to find where I am, with the exception of the Renaissance Festival, which we will attend sometime next month. You are becoming experts at riding the Penny-Farthing. They have made 2 cameo appearances so far that I can recall on this channel. Looks pretty fun though. I also want to give my congratulations on the fabulous talent show performance and the award. Great job and high-fives!! Excellent work on the video btw and best wishes to everyone! This was the first video I've seen you post in a while and I'm glad you are back at it.

This our third time going to a Steampunk festival and this was the best year so far. The ice cream shop is the best! You can get a free ice cream every day of the year. We love going there! Thank you for joining us at the festival!

Marissa isn't on Color Guard, but we used to have a flag and pom squad with our homeschool group, which is where she learned.
