Too be honest, if we are talking Boxing games, I still have a huge soft spot for King of Boxer (or Ring King as it was also know) from the arcades. A decades old game and still gets more right in its gameplay than pretty much most of the Boxing games that have followed it since. Comment below if you know this arcade game!!!

Physical copies are absolutely crucial, you can let family borrow and make most of your money back if you sell them.

Fans are starved for a realistic boxing game since Fight Night Champion over a decade ago and instead we get a typical arcade fighting game that cannot even get Rocky’s southpaw stance accurate. Cannot wait for ESBC, a true realistic boxing game to come out. This is utter disappointment as the least they could have done is make upgrade of Rocky Legends that at least has some realistic boxing play.

I was really hoping this was similar to Fitness Boxing on the Switch. If it’s not the game play is no different than what you’d get on your phone.

Its certainly more in depth than a mobile game, but no its an arcade game, not a fitness one :)

This isnt a fitness game. Its an arcade boxing game. If you want fitness boxing THEN GO PLAY FITNESS BOXING

Y’all remember the fight night franchise now that was a boxing game to remember ea won’t bring it back which is the bad part but who knows anything could happen right we need our fight night fans to ask ea tho great video Paul I preordered mines monday so it’s ready to go

Hitting B to dodge out of the way throws me off tremendously. My natural instinct for a boxing game to dodge is double tap on the D pad in the direction directly opposite of my opponent.

Yea you get used to it. Best to dodge away rather than side to side and also dodge in followed up with an X attack is a good tactic!

Or even better have a lean and dodge modifier like fight Night Champion. Without the ability to lean and duck this game is a hell naw for me.

The Victorious Boxers series was one of the best the best things Ive played on PS2 and right up there with Mike Tysons Punch Out, Ring King and the later Fight Night titles.. This Creed game on Switch appears to be more like Rocky on PS2.. It looks pretty good but not quite on the same level..

So far so good… you’re not wrong when you said it had elements of that old game that I used to love playing on my Dreamcast but they don’t go far enough since this is a arcade they should’ve went the full way not just half not just OK we’re gonna put a super turbo thing here but we’re not gonna do that here it would’ve served a better game if they just went for it

I was gonna buy it until I saw how arcades it looked. And def did not stick to the source material. I might get it on a sale but not full priced, just cos it’s Rocky themed and I’m a huge fan of the movies

They will never be another Fight Night. The company fell apart years ago. If you want Fight Night get a PS3, Xbox 360 or Xbox One.

Yep surprisingly fine considering the big colourful graphics, backgrounds etc. Is very nicely done.

Yes you can, think there is Rookie, Medium and Hard. (I was on Rookie because I'm a scrub!)

Best boxing game for a 5 year old maybe... Its a terribly boring repetitive shit. Sold it the day after i bought it.

@@SwitchedOn the graphics look like it’s a mobile game and it looks clunky as hell, ready 2 rumble round 2 looks much better then this and that is 21 years old

I dunno, the graphics are ok - bit unfair to say they are 'mobile'. Rush Rally Origins is a great mobile game ported to the Switch, so technically has 'mobile' graphics but is a great game :) But yes, Ready 2 Rumble was brilliant wasnt it? We really need a top draw boxing game. eSports Boxing Club looks SUPERB. Have you seen that?

This game is unplayable. The controls are so limiting, you’ll be bored of it halfway through your first fight. There’s no cutscenes, or actual story mode. It’s so cheaply made, I wanted to love it, but its impossible. Played less than an hour, I’ll never play it again. It’s that bad.
