You've hit the nail on the head! What a BRILLIANT BEATIFUL job you're (you') done! I'm building the Tamiya 1:12 scale Williams Renault FW14B F1. My plan is to have 1 car with all panels attached, 1 car with all detail showing & the engine separate showing all of it's detail. I only hope it comes out half as well as your builds, but it's the enjoyment we get out of modelling that counts. Sorry for the book, we hope this finds you & your family well. Just about to start in on it. Wow all those mods I'm seeing. This noob only has a dremel. Yeah this'll be a gong show, but hopefully a not too scarring and soul-destoying one.🙂

Hi , top-studio 0,8mm and 1,2mm . On rear radiators - 1.5mm

Great job on the superdetailing! I am about to undertake the Lotus 78 in 12th scale. Can you tell me what dia of braided line to order? I think if I get the connectors in the same scale it will be ok. Thank you from Australia.

Hi, sorry, I didn't answer for a long time - I was on vacation. For a 1/12 scale, it is better to take a 1.5 and 1 mm braided line (top-studio). 0.8 mm is extremely rarely needed, and does not differ much from 1 mm. Be sure to take 2 colors - black and silver. Greetings from Russia !

Thank you for the reply. I have ordered the line in silver, and will just paint flat black where required. Top Studio answered and were a big help also. They suggested two mixed sets of connectors.@@_autoscale_

do not paint the beam, but apply Panel Line Accent Color from Tamiya. This will preserve flexibility and texture. Sets of fittings from Top-Studio require improvement. There is a ledge on the fitting for putting on the Braided Line, but it is very thick and the braid looks very thick too. How to solve ? - very simple :) you cut off this ledge, make a hole in its place and insert a piece of copper wire with a diameter of 0.3-0.5 mm, then paint, and already put a braid on it. This eliminates breaking off the etiquette of the protrusions, because they are very fragile. the pin is perfectly glued to the cyacrine. All the fittings in the video are made exactly like that. Pay attention - very thin protrusions on the fittings . Good luck!!!@@johnmclean6498
