@@IDrag123 it has absolutely nothing to do with being 'woke' enough to realise something or not. I get you're more woke than Buddha himself but you don't need to be woke to "get" old bars like 'I'm in love with tree, I'm an Avatar', I'm Quagmire, I fuck hoes, my cash flows, I giggity-get it.' or 'When the stick's out, they bust it open like the na-na is a piñata' or literally hundreds of questionable bars in the past. Sorry, but you can't convince me that he's someone that was known for corny bars. Like I said, his technical ability has never been questioned but his pen was suspect many times. Back then, those corny bars were like he can't even take himself seriously so why should we? However, I didn't feel like that at all during the latest freestyle. Even the last single had a sense of acknowledgement for his craft that things were changing and he was putting his foot down. Has zero, ZERO to do with being woke enough to 'get' him.

Big Sean is really letting the raps talk nowadays. His previous work has some “corny” bars here and there. But as of late, I like the approach he takes with his music. He’s unlocked that potential I wanted Logic to reach.
