It’s so hard to be a Star Wars fan in 2024……none of these stories are what us fans want or care about and the execution is really poor and embarrassing. It’s such a shame to see a franchise that I grew up watching and reading about and truly loving getting dragged through the mud like this…….

I respect Johnson for atlesst attempting to make something slightly difference even tho it did not work at all while somewhat trying to stay true to the source material. But what this chick did seemed intentional. These companies are too damn scared to voice a different opinion. It’s the whole bud light situation again, not knowing what their core audience is like. They didn’t learn anything.

Rian Johnson's work with The Last Jedi(That I ever cared about) can never receive enough criticism. With that said, Johnson did a really good job with Knives Out, it's just a tradegy that he ever got involved with Star Wars.

She's full of it. She previously said she wrote SW fan fiction because she was so into it, but when asked where it was published online, she says it was before the Internet. She is making up her backstory. When pressed for details, there are none. "Star Wars saved my life" is another one.

LOL is this guy playing straight face with sarcasm? Stand alone good story telling? Let's ask how well dumpster fire would have done if the Star Wars banner was removed. It wouldn't have made it past the pilot stage. Include whatever politics you want but please, PLEASE have good writers and interesting characters. Ultimately, the audience will decide, not 13.5k sub critic stooges. No way does this get Season 2.

She was gifted with an incredible legacy in Star Wars, and has completly trashed it beyond anything we have seen with prior series/movies. The show has a poor script, awful performances, and is overall a lazy & stupid production. But perhaps worst of all, she has sacrificed story narrative to pursue a forced social agenda; and it wasn't even subtly done. I feel really bad for JJ and Carrie-Anne, the only true professionals involved in this train-wreck.
