It is of interest. But our guru's tongue runs lose when he says "Always DIP4 is off". DIP4 is "divide current setting by 2" or "...in half" or "deliver half current" or "operate in economy mode"...so many ways of talking. I like the simultaneous assessment of two driver boards, but it does my head in. Imperfections aside: thank you for making this video, Sir. Greetings from England.

Sir, please tell me what difference is there between the DME542 and DME542E? I am using this setup for the linear actuator and want to include limit switches at two ends. Can you please suggest an Arduino code with limit switches?

using your methods, we can figure out which 2 wires are in the same phase. but how do we determine which one is + vs -? does it not matter if they are swapped?

+/- determine rotation direction. Swap the polarity of ONE of the phases to reverse the direction.
