i think the fact that you love your life without being an actress is more of a sign to go for it. if you fail, then who cares you already love your life and you're no worse off. if you succeed, then you live your dream. because you already love your life, anything you do now is just added happiness. the worst that can happen is literally nothing.

I can't even imagine doing an acting class over Zoom. I don't blame you for not feeling that. Because of how often you've mentioned being into acting and movies, I really hope that you give it your all. If it ever feels like too much, just know that you can pull the plug and go back to your comfort zone. Regardless of whether you become a full fledged actress or not, I don't think you'll regret finding out if it was meant for you.

As someone who just found their sweet spot w/ my anxiety meds (it took like 6 or so months so) I’m hopeful that as you continue your journey you will lose that worry about not being enough or not having that drive to get to your dreams. Like it’s not perfect , no fear, I’m invincible or whatever BUT it’s such a better place in terms of letting those fears pass, recentering and doing the thing. W/o the dread lol. If i've learned anything from my own experiences, it's that taking risks are worth experiencing the fear and discomfort that comes with them! you don't have to be all or nothing either! baby steps is key, one first step could be just doing an audition! it's good experience to have, even if you don't get the role- at least you can say you tried it out! and the more auditions u do, the more comfortable and confident you'll feel as an actress! i believe in u, ur capable of whatever u set your mind to, just take the first step!

Protect your space, your morals and values, but also DIVE into what you ponder regularly on. Life is not guaranteed, so (cliche but) GO FOR IT! I’ve been watching you and your whole family for years. I guess I just wanted to say is do the things that terrify you. I let fear control me for so long. I let a lot of my teenage years go by without experiencing life because I was so afraid. A few years ago I took a chance and made a decision that scared the shit out of me, but made me better. As someone who works in casting - I think it would help to work with someone who you can discuss roles and scripts with - that pre creative process will help break it down a bit for you so you don't feel too overwhelmed - you are deff right about actors needing to really want it to the point it consumes everything - I deal with a lot of actors - and the industry is very very tough - but you seem to already have the starting points and are getting auditions so you are already in a better position then most actors - but I would say balance is very important - acting is very rewarding but can be very consuming - and as an empath and a classic introvert perhaps you might struggle with the push push push a lot of actors have - but at the same time you have talent - and want to act because you love it and want to create art - which is vital. X

You should for sure try it Kennedy! Is there acting classes you can take at a fine arts school or somewhere near you? If it doesn't work at least you tried and had a good experience! I could also see you being good at doing costumes, makeup, or fashion. You never know what other things you could get into as a backup too.

Girly I have an anxiety disorder too and it has given me so many mental road blocks in my life because we tend to think things though before doing them! I never was able to pursue anything I wanted to because I too am comfortable with my simple PA life … but the constant feeling of regret from not doing things is killing me now because I have one more year until I’m 30 and I regret so much don’t be like me get comfortable being uncomfortable blah blah and all that lol … love you do your thing girl and I hope I can see you push thought the anxiety and focus on your dream and get outta your head

jesus christ everyone wants to be an actor these days cause they find it fun and glitzy and easy.... bestie, if you think you're gonna be in movies with the snap of a finger, then you're a fool. the industry is fucking tough and just like you said, very beautifully: acting is the kind of thing where you need to do EVERYTHING for it. and if you're not prepared for that, if you have even the tiniest shred of doubt already, then that's not for you and just quit it. also, acting isn't just movies. have you ever been in a play or even read one? join an amateur theatre, now that's _real_ acting there, where you only have one shot at it. try theatre and then see if that still exites you, because if it doesn't, then clearly you just wanna be a moviestar and not an actress. and that's not it.

Anxiety meds helped me a lot too but some always thought I didn’t need them. They’re not a magical pill, I still have anxiety issues more than a normal person lol but it does help make life a little easier
