When woodie died, Northern California died a little bit inside. It was so sudden and confusing. I dont care what side of the map youre from, you know deep down, if you heard more than a couple of his songs, you said to yourself, "this is a real mf right here." As ive gotten older and met and talked to solid surenos, there was only one I met who was like "nah i never fucked wihj his shit" ... And i Know thats only because that sureno was at war back in the day in modesto and sac. Long story short... If you just listen to wood with an open mind and look past colors and or boundaries, you can tell he was no vanilla ice or some bs like that. He had real demons in his sleep 💯 Rest in peace 🕊️
