Hey guys we are back!!! Sorry for the delay of posting videos. Took a break during summer but now that the weather is cooler we are gonna hit it hard. In this video we managed to catch some nice trout on topwater. My fish was 24" 4lbs caught on a bone spook jr. John broke his personal best trout the fish was 25" 5 lbs caught on a topwater (Can't remember which exact lure he was using) We also played the redfish so stay tuned for next weeks video. I'm glad to see you back in action man. Like you said cold fronts are comin' and the big gators will come out to play. Nothing beats and morning topwater bait especially on a spook but with the cold it might be a good idea to switch to corkys or good'ol soft plastics. Those Jrz have been working for me lately and are becoming my second go to behind DSL of course. I'm glad a good amount of big trout survived the freeze and will be able to be caught. Tight lines man

Corkies are probably the best big trout lure but recently getting into them I’ve probably had my best luck on DSL Supermodels but corkies may take the #1 spot for favorite after this winter

Good to see you back at it! Have been wondering where you were! My fav trout lures are a Super Spook Jr in Bone…and a bigger Super Spook chrome with red head that I use in windier/bigger wave conditions to make a lot more ruckus. PB 26.5” on the bigger Spook. curly tails no matter the brand always seems to work for me, especially because the tail itself has too much action for the fish to resist. But I am yet to find a brand that is most durable
