Before winter and snow rains: 1.Your need to be good winter tyres(snowflake and 3peak mountain)to all axles. 2.Take a some box good sand with and put it some place where that is easy to got when you need it. 3.Keep care its your cross-and axle-locks works.If they not work repair them dont care what your boss say because later you got alot thanks. 4.Pick some"swing-chains"with. 5.Say to your boss its you want a truck where you can lift up that back tandem axle(6x4)trucks too!! 6.If you think its you are stuck try first rewerse because menytimes rewersing is easier and helps you better to move. 7.Dont ever parking uphill. Im been trucker a over 22 years and never need put chains on because im follow those tips.

yep chains needed "BEFORE YOU GtET STUCK ' ...OR put it in a higher gear , the tires wont spin that way ......I've driven for 35 yrs ....25 yrs in heavy snow & with doubles & tripples , was dedicated on run from boise Id to portland w/ tripples ...i chained alot !...you can pull tripples in Idaho in adverse condt. "snow & ice " .... i hate to chain , but hate getting stuck WORSE ... where do these drivers come from , this driver must be newbie w/ NO winter experience ....

I drove 18 wheelers up through the White Mountains of New Hampshire and then all up through the Catskills of New York and then down through Vermont Believe me driving in the snow with the rig is not easy

this is why you carry a shovel.. holding on to a chain while tires are spinning is just plain dumb. everyone saying to put chains on in a parking lot, you would just have to take them off out on the road which is a safety hazard, chains are for the mountains in my humble opinion.

1st off straighten the steering, 2nd that's not much snow. If he didn't have the differential locked before hand he should have.

When trucking was only a little polluted. 1) drivers only drive with boots and drivers only use flip flops for showers 2)the only time sweatpants was visible it's when you're sleeping in the sleeper, 3)no boneheads or at least very few 4)no sex involved, as in yoga pants, booty bottoms, cleavage out the wazoo or etc(when female truck drivers were just truck drivers that were females and lot lizards) 5)a lot or respect of one another 6)and most importantly, when THe Most High was the shepherd to these screaming metal bulls known as big rigs.

I've made it through worse in the snow, using a rwd pickup truck, no weight in the bed, & shitty tires. That trucker probably just graduated CDL training, dumbass he is.

Semi's are really powerful and all but they just aren't made for snow.

That is a very common sight in the winter and the truth is, they have no understanding of how to drive. A good driver could get in that truck and drive it out with no damage to the truck or to the tires and more importantly, no danger to anyone.
