Back with another banger! Finally decided to take the Z outside after sitting for 3 months. Ran into a built big turbo f82 that wanted to do a fun run, probably wasn't the best idea to race on E85 that old but I don't say no lol Z felt super sluggish but we'll run it back soon 🔥

Stuck between going for a (manual) Supra or (DCT)f80 anyone driven both and can give their opinion? KZfaq reviews ain’t helping me. Not going for more power than downpipe and tune for either.

Imma be straight honest, they are both very different cars haha. I’m just going to say something upfront, unless you like rowing your own gears, manuals are pretty much dead. Autos these days are just so much better and you can control it similar to a manual, just without the extra pedal. With that out of the way, the Supra and F80 very different platforms. It’s kind of hard to compare. The Supra is smaller but I think the F80 handles better cause it’s a real M. Also the Supra space inside of it feels cramped lol. The F80 actually kind of feels like a luxury car haha but sporty at the same time. Both the B58 and S55 make nice power with just a downpipe and tune. Being that the S55 is a Twin Turbo, it almost feels N/A cause boost hits quick. Honestly the S55 can be(depending on who owned it and how it was taken care of) can be a money pit so be careful. It will definitely cost more to fix and maintain an S55 over a B58. I will say this though, I know someone with high mileage S55 and they doing just fine but I know they take care of their car haha. I would recommend going to Carmax or a dealership to test drive both in person. They are just different lol.

@@ThisMightWork No problem bro, just wanted to put my own experience. That’s smart; didn’t even think about Turo. If you wanted my non-biased opinion, the Supra is overrated. I’d rather get the real deal BMW whether it’s a M340i or M440i or even just the older non M 340i and 440i if you want a B58. I just don’t think the prices of Supras are worth it. You can get a nice F80 or F82 same price or even a base spec higher mileage S58 car for the price of a new Supra.
