Even on an “off” day he still kills it. Supremely talented.

I love my hometown of Boston and greater New England in the US... but goddamn me if I wouldn't move to Canada in a fuckin heartbeat if my wife showed interest. Best things on Earth come from Canada: hot women, sweet fuckin rock and roll, and beer. And hockey. Heaven on Earth.

Seems like Ian’s voice alone would rattle the walls of that itty bitty room!

3:54-4:06 how do you not like those drum fills at the end? Very sweet indeed.

I have met him twice and he was very sweet and friendly. Very funny guy actually! You must have caught him on a bad day. He's human after all.

Love Ian how he belts out the notes, very powerful vocalist, I heard he had some throat issues in the past, but fk, i'm in a band as well, and if he was ill, I know how frustrating it can be.

Listening to the rest of the performance, Ian did very well with the other songs. He gets a pass for sure, especially if he had a little bug in his throat there. Great sound, wish there was more high quality live Big Wreck out there!

I've never seen one of those dual necked Mando-Guitars. Somebody correct me if that's not what it is.

Vocally depends where this song was in the set. Near the start of the set I could understand a lack of looseness. It's not like the other musicians out there who are pumping vocal through god knows what in order to sound reasonable. But sure he was a bit off on this one. He's human afterall!
@Godeiche12 жыл бұрын
Same same! Though it sounded like Ian had a few problems with those higher-pitched notes, there. Not to be blamed, though. They're pretty frickin' high notes, they are!

So?? I don't care if he kills babies in his spare time. I don't think any of us came here to see if he was cool to hang out with or not. His music SLAYS. He's probably the best rock musician on the planet. That's why we're here.
@jvbilodeau9 жыл бұрын
whyd they play it a half step low?
@mark71667 жыл бұрын
Probably to help with the vocal range. A lot of artists play songs half a step lower live because it's easier to sing (especially if they are touring and having to sing day after day).
@grantdurst78757 жыл бұрын
Ian uses a multitude of tunings, quite annoying when u only got one guitar and are playing along to various BW and Thornely tracks having to retune for each one lmao
@brandon927111 жыл бұрын
Like most rockers he smokes.. or at least he did when I saw him. I don't know how Ian, chris cornell, Steven Tyler, and so many other singers can smoke and sing! I just can't do both and I'd rather sing ;))
@marcorock10111 жыл бұрын
oh come on, this sh*t on Nickelback is getting old. cliché. I love both bands. just get over it and enjoy whatever else YOU like.
