I am from karnataka. There is concept and belief called as daiva in few pockets of coastal Karnataka. These performances are held across this region every now and then. I personally have been an audience to it twice. I can actually feel the vibration even though I am not vivid believer but I loved the concept and storyline of this movie. Its awesome. Simple message is "save forests"..

Yes trees make the top soil w the leaves if the top soil goes so does our food source, fruits gives food fruit wood, holds water, purifies air, returns soil via leafs, as they decay along with cow dung and so protecting trees r essential to our survival...... V r thr children... If you have noticed 2 words in the song Varaha Roopam I.e. Daiva(God)-7:28 and Danta(teeth)- 7:43. You will find interesting that these 2 words exactly cognates with European languages like Latin: "Deus" (god) , Dentes(teeth) and Lithuanian(Baltic European language): Dievas(God) and Dantų(teeth). These Daiva and Danta are Sanskrit words.

This is a culture across the length and breadth of India. Through with different names, customs and rituals. In Gujarat's Saurashtra region we have a similar culture of worshipping (Shakti - energy) in form of Goddesses. Traditional songs called as 'Dakla' are performed by the 'Bhuvas" which are absolutely powerful and gives you goosebumps when experienced in person. This is one great culture of spirituality, belonging the ancient 'Bharata'.

The reason is why Indians have not forgotten their Gods, Demigods and even spirits who help them when needed. The westerners cannot understand this since paganism was completely wiped out from our culture. But India remains even after having suffered so much... love the cultures and what ties them together - the pantheon of Gods! You can find the Shetrapala (guardian of the land loosly) outside every temple.

It's a plot of Panjurli n Guliga Dhaiva(DemiGod) who grants a King peace n prosperity in return with some amount of land for the forest PPL.. The DemiGod which possesses a local person in the scene tells his condition to the king n also puts the condition that if anyone asks about taking back the given land.. I may forgive.. But my subordinate Lord Guliga will not leave you, as Guliga is fierceful guardian.. The both Rishab (played as father n son)are successors of the forest PPL who had got land and they are ritual performers of Lords Dance.. In reality this tradition is still perfomed with the same devotion in coastal region of Karnataka.. 🙏🥰 I think this is enough.. later you can understand the full movie..
