TOP's deep voice is the OG or blueprint for kpop group's deep voiced rappers. That's why it sounds natural to you. It wasn't trained to sound like that. Most kpop groups' deep voices for sure aside from the natural deep tone, they were trained how to be "deep". To match or achieve the quality TOP's voice has.

Bigbang doesn't have a consistent sound but they do have themes that keep popping up. Like the struggle to connect, loneliness, alongside the standard hip-hop bravado. Also if you think T.O.P. reminds you of RM now it was far more prominent in the early days of BTS. All of BTS looked up to BigBang. In fact Taeyang inspired Jimin while Yoongi and Jungkook were inspired to pursue music because of G dragon. BTS are self admitted BigBang fanboys. Also Psy didn't influence BigBang it was the other way around. The style and sound of YG was G dragon's production and BigBang's style.

Paris Goebel is the choreographer of BANG BANG BANG. The chain thing is her concept also. Don't worry though, GDragon was chained to her also. So they are basically tied to each other. A consensual bdsm concept.

They broke bariers and chalenged limits , gave kpop freedom of creation . Once you actualy get to know them and see pass the "scandals" there are not half as bad as people say, they just lived like rock stars not like idols . Would you stay away from artists like Rolling Stones . Some of the best music out there does not come from saints . BigBang keeps it real . I went to this tour and it was top tear! Hands down the best K-pop concert I’ve been to and top five concerts in general I’ve been to! Truly deserve their title of KINGS! BIGBANG their own genre

Fun fact as told by themselves: All of the tracks in this album are "Title tracks" hence most of them have music videos, and you get all different genres in one album! It was said to be the greatest album that was ever made in K-Pop.

MADE was originally released as 4 single albums containing 2 songs each. The single albums were released one month after the other over 4 months. The complete MADE album with all of the songs was only released about 18 months later.

You will know its BIGBANG when the live performance is 100x better than recorded. I highly suggest you see the live performance, year end performance and you will know what seperates them to others.

Yes Big Bang are very versatile musically and don't really stick to a single sound - part of why I love them so much! Also - people used to say Daesung's eyes were ugly (not that I see it), so that was why he went through a period where he was insecure and covering his eyes a lot

Every song of the album is the title track, so that’s why it feels a little bit messy. Also Bigbang definitely have their own style of music, Bang Bang Bang and Loser show their sounds as a group to the max, as same as they have YG DNA in their voices and rap that makes them iconic. Basically, they called idol’s idols especially G-Dragon. I think it’s pretty difficult to like them from the first time, but if you continue listen to their music and other iconic songs like Haru Haru, Fantastic Baby or Bad boy, you will see their colour more. Please check out their lives to understand this group. For newcomers the album can feel incohesive, but once you’re familiar with their sound, every song on the album is very much them and makes sense. They’re refreshing since they dont let “concepts”, “genre’s” or other “standards” define them unlike every other group in kpop, they do what they want and how they want it, very onorthodox to the kpop industry. Through this attitude they have changed and defined the whole kpop industry, as even today the standardized kpop group takes after the bigbang model.

1 Thing you need to know about BigBang is, the leader, *G-Dragon*, is the main producer and writer in almost all their songs. And ofc, the deep voice, TOP writes his raps he was used to be a underground rapper.

To me they're cohesive because their voices are so distinct and because G-dragon wrote most of their songs. Zutter means cool. I think this video represents how society sees Top and G-dragon's relationship as "dirty" ( the urinal) vs how it really is (they're getting in a beautiful car in beautiful clothes). Sadly, I no longer think they are together.

There's some misinformation here and there in that BIGBANG profile about Seungri .. it was already debunked back in 2019 that Seungri wasn't part of Molka chat, in that Chat there was an user called " SINGER LEE"...Kmedia manufactured that chat and spreaded lies saying that Lee Seungri was the "Singer Lee" but soon after was revealed that "SINGER LEE" is Lee Jonghyun from CNBLUE, it was Lee Jonghyun who said all horrible things about those girls not Seungri.. Seungri was in a Business Chat and that bastard of Jung Joon Young(he had 20 chat on his phone and he was one of the Bussines man in this Bussines chat) shared by accident a 20 seconds clip of consensual sex that was deleted due the complains of the other user in the Bussines Chat...Seungri charge: "sharing sexual nature content" is about he shared in the Bussines Chat a photo of the naked back of a woman for promoting a club in Singapore.. It was proved that he didn't take the photo and he didn't ask for, that photo was sent to him unrequested by an employee of a club in Singapore..Seungri couldn't find the girl in the photo to prove the girl was a model(as a worker myself in the fashion world, I'm assuming the girl was a model but til now we don't have information if the photo was taken consensual or if the employee shared with consent, reason why the Court didn't drop this charge cuz they couldn't find the model in the photo)... The Prostitution Mediation Charge:.. It's about a Friend and Business partner Seungri..That man called Yoo was used to hire prostitutes for entertain foreigner investors(Seungri had no idea about this that Yoon said it himself that he(Yoo) did it by his own and never said a word about it to Seungri)...The Cout said that there's no way to know if Seungri knew or not so the Prosecutor accused Seungri of "Association" (they didn't want to let him go, due the brainwashed public opinion raised by misleading articles, was i n the gov throat)... Even though after following Seungri's case, I believe even if they found that girl the Court wouldn't allowed her to go there and speak since The Court didn't allow Seungri to bring witness from his side, the Court said "since his witness are foreigners they won't call them to give statements in the Court" 😒.." It wasn't necessary" the Judge added😒.. Crazy how all witnesses from the Prosecution side said Seungri was innocent🤔 and despite this The Court decided to ignore the witnesses statements and all proofs.. and sentenced him by using as a proof a tabloid article and the comments made by knetz due that misleading article.. The Judge said(about the article) "since this article is saying it, it must be true"🤦🏻‍♀️... Immagine a Court using an article like those one from Dispatch or Pannchoa🤦🏻‍♀️... I really can't take seriously SKorea, it's a shame😤.. A completely failure in their justice sistem😤.. The songs in the album were mostly written to be performed. BigBang concerts and other stages are the best! The songs are self produced and show the various fields of interest but also are written to showcase there different voices. Girlfriend e.g. was meant to be a goodie for fans because 'a group like BigBang can also produce a typical boygroup song' they never performed this song.

Yeah, everyone in the Korean music industry took notice of G-Dragon and T.O.P since 2006. Their rapline was so unique and blends so well together. They are the reason why most idol groups have the same rapline like them. BIGBANG was just doing their own thing but everyone else followed everything they did.

G-DRAGON became a member of little roora at 6 years old. He debut as rapper in 2001 at age 13, where he released his own written song with an MV. He is now the wealthiest celebrity from copyright royalties in korea. When G-Dragon debut no idol really wrote their own stuff, he broke through that stereotype. G dragon also designed the first lightstick (BIGBANGs yellow Crown) and it became a stable in kpop. Most kpop groups are given an concept by the company and they keep close to that over the years. BigBang members do what they find interesting. They always try to chalenge themselves as artists and try new things .This is why you never know what you get next . Highly recommend you read the lyrics for songs like Zutter, Loser , Sober . A lot of times the MV is deceptive and the lyrics are more deep . Zutter means cool . GD & TOP were really obsessed to have an original song . The MV is inspiered by a TOPs movie Tazza . Yes they got drunk filming We like 2 party . Loser and Sober deal with depression. Bae Bae MV shows the stages of life and love from discovery of sexuality as a teenager to marriage and lost of your partner. Last dance is a song for fans . It was released as a goodbye before they started to enlist . TOP gets very emotional since he was the first to go .

I wish there were English subs on their videos especially "Loser" The lyrics are so real and so sad. You might think that "Sober" is that light fun song but the lyrics are so not like that. Please look up the English lyrics of their songs, you'll be surprised. They sing about things no other group in the Korean music industry sang or talked about.

The reason why the album jumps from fast to slow is because the tracks were released by twos in mini albums first. Two songs in M, and then A, then D, and finally E, before they released MADE as a whole with the additional songs.

Bigbang is an eclectic group because it`s composed of artists with very strong personalities, both vocally and scenically, and also strong and different solo careers. And each one adds their particular sound to the group. Punk-Rock, hip-hop, and experimental from GD, hip-hop and also experimental from TOP, R&B from Taeyang, rock and J-pop from Daesung, and more pop sound from Seungri. That's their charm, you never get bored. I was excited about this reaction, but I feel like you started watching their videos with some big prejudices, when you really don't know anything about the problems they've had or everything they've had to go through as a group and as individuals, and many of the things that enjoy today in K-pop comes from them. But hey, at least you're honest If you really want to give them a chance and not just because Patreon forces you to, I recommend watching one of their live performances. I don't know why people started to spread this but Daesungs hair was purely a fashion decision. He (who has no interest in design, trends or anything like this) likes to make fun about his hair (you have only to watch some of the concert talks of that era). That style was part of his concept of that time. He dosnt care about things like this and lefs decisions fully to their longtimestylist. Now are concept mostly not that obviously but back than the concept of a comeback was a big thing. By the way Daesung or D-Lite has a great Solo discography, is overall a showman and has a great humor (youtube: D'splay)👍

Bigbang! The best group K-pop has ever had.....I've been with them since the beginning. I've been a fan of Kpop since 1st gen. Bigbang are people trying to live just like all the other groups, mistakes, and all. They are no more problematic than any other group... but they don't pay to hide their mistakes.

Most groups from BIG companies actually appropriate other cultures again and again. I AGREE that we need to talk about it sometimes.
