They should have it prepared since it's prerecorded. I don't understand why they can't even be on time even with eng subs.

Why are they obligated to prepare English subs? You have to remember that this is KOREAN music, just like American artists don't put up Korean subs for their videos, there is no obligation for Korean artists to put up English subs. The fact that they even put it up a couple days later is already more than enough.

You're right but it would greatly help in promoting their artist and have everyone be on the same page. It will also maximize the audience's engagement from the attention at the time of release. Some fans will just wait when the subs come out but sometimes life gets in the way and forget about it. Causal fans would have their attention on something else by then and moved on. It's a barrier hence the demand. Refusing to acknowledge the demographic of their audience especially on an international platform and the very fast paced consumption of Kpop won't help their business. While other companies make it a priority, YG ENTERTAINMENT is lagging behind.

Can we just appreciate how much effort Seungri put into this music video just for us? This was a one shot take which means he has to do everything perfectly from start to finish and if he or the dancers makes a single mistake he has to start all over again. I can only imagine how bad and down he felt whenever he made a mistake and everyone had to restart everything. Furthermore, he not only has to lip-sync to the song perfectly but also has to act and remember all his choreography and actions he is supposed to do at a certain time. Honestly, he could have easily asked someone to edit all the good takes together but he didn't just so that everything would flow nicely and it would seem like a story for us.
