Are you guys fricken serious? Big boy is not a good interviewer. It actually just hit me watching this video that Big almost always try’s to talk over his guest and it seems like he’s just waiting for his turn to talk. And he always try’s to include himself or compare himself or tell a story about how he did something or went thru something similar to what they did. Big is always waiting for the opportunity to make things about himself. That being said Big reminds me a lot like my girlfriend

I clowned this guy in the comments for so long without understanding his situation. Man I need to work on the person in the mirror. We always quick to judge people even more so with athletes because we ‘think’ they have it all. Kudos to Oscar for being real and openly talking about his demons he faces. Blessings to you Oscar!

This was a great interview!! I'm about 5 years older than Oscar and followed his career from the moment NBC did the special about him (prior to the 1992 Olympics) committing to win the gold medal for his mother. I had tears in my eyes when he won the gold medal. I cheered loudly when he crushed Fernando Vargas. I was disappointed when he lost to Trinidad. There was a time when I started to hate him. However, I now realize that I've never walked in his shoes. I wish him all the best.

Great interview BigBoy - Oscar taking responsibility a candid interview... As an alcoholic and a addict the first step is to admit that you are powerless. The 12 step program works and it's a commitment for life, as they say in the program "it works if you work it" Step 12: says as a result of these steps we CARRY THIS MESSAGE to other alcoholics and practice these principles in all of our affairs. Being in the entertainment business I know it's part of the perks but I couldn't have done it without the 12 steps, God and surrounding myself with the right people "accountability"... BigBoy I happen to be the drummer for the group WAR, we've been on your radio show many years ago, it's great to see that you're still doing it, keeping it real... I'm still the drummer for the group and been for the last 32years...and I too work the program. I have 12 years of sobriety now. I've had my struggles with addiction and alcohol for many years. and the way to maintain sobriety is to carry the message, I really enjoy being a speaker and speaking to people about recovery, my journey and giving back, that's when you get the most joy, that's where the healing begins.. BigBoy I really enjoyed this interview. Keep up the good work my friend. God Bless you.. Sal Rodriguez...

It’s very nostalgic hearing Big Boy asking him about the first time he was on his show asking him about putting avocado on his face. I remember being in the car hearing that interview on the radio.
