It's definitely deformable, but I'm not sure how this unit prevents seepage, or even what they mean by that.
This is a folding lamp that can be angled to suit the area you want illuminated, while also conveniently fitting into a small shipping box.
The construction seems OK, although the power dissipation and plastic casing is a bit concerning for LED longevity.
The driver layout looks OK and is quite neat.

I think the "anti-seepage" is those two 510K resistors that keep it from flickering if there's a little current getting through (or around) the switch.

I have a couple of similar 45w lights, one in the basement workshop and one in the garage. They are great for getting more light without having to put up more lamps, and the horrible cold white is not too much of a problem in a workshop. They do get a little hot, but not enough to burn my fingers and much less than i expected. Had them for well over a year, probably a couple hundred hours on each and no issues so far.

@@bigclivedotcom I've taken to some of your ways of de-potting some stuff for repair and/or upgrades. It's amazing how slowly or quickly things disintegrate depending on if you have chosen the proper solvent. Acetone works well as a starter in most cases. Polystyrene has no idea what hit it. Isopropyl works for final cleanup or on rare/cheap stuff. I also have Ensolve on hand, but that needs special care as it evaporates extraordinarily quick as it's made to clean PCBs after manufacturing.

Big problem is that to carry the same number of Watts, the wiring and plugs must be thicker to handle the current. Then there's also the need to calculate and check voltage drop between power source and circuit, as many gadgets won't like getting only 8V instead of 12V due to something else pulling 4A (50W) through 1ohm of wiring.
