Just watched the Killers cover from TRNSMT. Indeed they did a great cover too, more faithful to the original. Bleachers made it their own

Different interpretations, yes. The fact that BF and JA both say it’s one of their pantheon songs is high praise from two who take their 80s influences seriously.
