I grew up hunting on my late father's remote property near Nelsonville, in this region. He owned about 80 acres of forest. It was really out in the middle of nowhere. We had a small pond on the property, a cool gorge area with a creek running through it, and even a cave. We would have to park on a dirt road, then backpack all of our stuff in. Plenty of game too. It was also one of the few places in the State where we would sometimes see black bear and bobcats. In the summer, we would go around catching timber rattlers that liked to hang around the rock outcroppings. The point is, the place was as wild as it gets. A year before my father passed away, we were camping there just below the cave. All night long, someone or something kept throwing rocks and pine cones at the tent. Then they/it would make a high pitched whistling sound and run off. We would grab a light and head out to see what it was, at which time we could hear it stomping away as it rustled through the woods. It sounded like a person. Or something about the size of a person. It kept repeating this behavior all night. We never did get to see what it was. They/it was too fast to escape every time we tried to get a light on it. The next morning when we left, someone/something placed a big pile of pine cones on my Dad's truck hood. I'm not saying this was bigfoot. It could have been a simple prankster, which I am thinking it was. But who knows? If it was a prankster, someone has far too much time on their hands and needs to get a hobby.

I've stayed at several cabins in Hocking hills. Knew the woods were crazy creepy compared north west Ohio. This is impressive footage of our famous friend!

I didn't believe in sasquatch until I camped solo at Scioto trail state park in 2018. One night, they were super active and paid me a visit. I couldn't look, I was terrified. I passed out right after they walked away. Been a believer ever since.

I was a contracted animal control agent for salt fork,,extremely beautiful area but I never saw or heard anything out of the ordinary..the human imagination is a heck of a thing...although I do wish squatch was real

I saw movement at about 0:35 to the left. I slowed the video down and you can see side to side movement right before the dogs looks it’s way then looks back at owner. Pretty cool!! Stay safe!

I saw a ufo in hocking hills the summer of 2011 around early/ mid August me and a few friends were taking a trip to hocking hills from Michigan for a weekend, we left at night and we got around the hocking hills area around 2 or 3am. It was a decently hot night and a clear sky we could see all the stars. As we were approaching the area probably about 25/30 minutes north of old man's cave and the hills start getting big me and my buddy both in the front saw a big bright green ball of light like a perfect sphere as big as a small car seem to come out of nowhere out of the sky right above a big hill peak on the right side of the highway, it wasn't a meteor or comit it wasn't like it had a trail for awhile or something it just appeared in the sky probably about 2 or 300 feet above this hill peak and decended down relatively quickly over the hill dropping into the trees a ball shaped orb glowing a bight green and we both looked at each other and were like did you just see that too? The whole thing probably lasted about 15 or 20 seconds. We kinda slowed down as it happened amd it was beautiful and surreal. It was the first time I ever saw a ufo and it was one of the realist things I have ever experienced like it was almost so real I couldn't believe it. We both could tell we had witnessed something really special and you could just feel it in that moment its hard to explain but the energy was wild. It's something that I will never forget. I've been going to hocking hills for years and there is something really special about the land there, there is alot of energy there. Has anyone on here ever experienced anything like that or similar in that area or know what they could have been? I'm pretty sure hocking hills/ logan ohio have 2 leylines that go through it and I heard there are a lot of strange sightings in that area.
