Alberta Canada near Rocky Mountain House, FYI, this area is well known for Bigfoot sightings and encounters, as a matter of fact the great Canadian explorer David Thompson mapped out a lot of country in this area using the river that this sighting took place, the North Saskatchewan River. Thompson spent 28 years in the fur trade from late 1700's and into the early years of the 1800's, he walked, canoed, rode horses and snow shoed over 88,000 kilometres of wilderness trading fur and surveying the area. In 1810 Thompson and his men were making their way along the banks of the Whirlpool River looking for a mountain pass into the next valley, the pass is known today as the Athabasca Pass in the Rocky Mountains in the vicinity of Jasper Alberta. As they made their way they stumbled across large tracks in the snow that had 4 toes 4 inches long, the total length of the track was 14 inches and the width was 8 inches, it is suggested that this was the first written description of the track of a Sasquatch. They spotted the tracks late in the day and although they were uneasy about setting up camp within that area they had no choice but to do so, his men were tired and hungry and traveling any further was out of the question, that night proved to be a sleepless night for the crew of 6 men, they heard strange howling through the night that resembled wolves but much deeper in sound, all the men were experienced outdoors men including 2 native guides that had lived their whole life in the wilderness and not one of the men had ever heard that kind of howling ever, the howling continued for hours through the night within a close distance to their camp. The North Saskatchewan river valley corridor is well known for Bigfoot sightings from Rocky Mountain House west through to the national parks of Banff and Jasper, along this corridor is the small community of Nordegg which has the most recorded sightings and encounters dating back to early 1800's.

I live in the heavily forested southern US, and have had a few encounters, been growled at,and heard knocks, whoo-ahs, howls, and had one slap our other house. I finally seen one last deer season about quarter mile from my house. Solid black, just like these woodboogers. Thought i saw another one run across my drive while i was taking some trash to the can, on a side-by-side, my can is several hundred feet from my home. This was a light brown, about 5’6”, hair about 4” on the head blowing in the wind. I wasn’t expecting to see that thing, and i didn’t really notice anything but the side of the head and the hair, and it took off like a flash. It blended in with the dead brush around it and i didn’t notice it till i was maybe forty feet from it. I was kinda questioning if i really saw something, and i thought Maybe a quail or something flew across the drive? But quails don’t have flowing hair trailing in the wind....this is going to sound crazy, but true.Dang thing must’ve came back and played doorbell ditchem about half an hour later, i was just coming out the bathrooms, and it set my dogs off inside the house, they were at the storm door, barking and carrying on, big dogs, but whatever it was, it was gone when i got to the door. Weirder still, itcame back and did it again about 15 or twenty minutes later when i was in the kitchen. Dogs were at the glass storm door again, going nuts. Ain’t no way anybody drove up my long driveway and left in a matter of less than twenty seconds, no it without me definitely seeing them, and i have never had anybody do that, doorbell ditchem my house, it’s rural area and seems just too dang coincidental. I laughed it off and figured that the thing wanted me to know it knew i saw it, and was pranking me. Crazy. But i have heard of them doing stuff if they know you know they are there. I’m glad it was gone by the time i got to the door.....woulda freaked me out if it was standing there waiting to see if i came to the door.

@@pittbull4000I think with animals they’re using more instinct but with Bigfoot they’re more like people in that some can be mean or do bad things, others are curious & have no bad intentions. STOP! Don’t move......tree line on your left. Wait for it. The sun had to go behind the clouds...making it darker. Then using your peripheral vision....there he is. Poking his head out and around....looking our way! Then slowly back......very Exciting!! And Large! 6 foot plus. There footsteps were loud on purpose. Mind games. To the right...left....behind. After the next day....nothing. It was all started on a Friday....we wouldn’t be back till Monday. Scouting new lands...and water sites..triangulation...for future sere training areas....and mostly we loved being out in our training grounds. Very Peaceful and important work.

We carry no guns. Just an axe...shelter...food...clothing. And an emergency radio. Didn’t see any reason to use it. There was no emergency. But it was a small comfort. We left out food in the morning...after a rather spooky night. We were thinking all kinds of things. But they just seem to walk around. Still ya never know. We calmed each other down.....tried to be adults not scared little children. So then we started laughing and joking...and talking loud. Very interesting night. God only knows what they thought of us.

The one in this Video is a Grey, their hair is multi stranded and is dense and shiny, in this way it manipulates the sunlight to camouflage them into the environment.
