for the holographic sight on the g36, its normal, you usually dont put iron sight with holographic, so, waht you're looking at here is pretty normal, he should remove the holo,or the iron sight

People take the Squad Development Kit, add some pre-made assets from the store, add "omg-its-so-cool" features, and with some video editing make the game look "cool". Then they act all mature asking for real feedback when it's really being delusional and waiting to "hear him praise us for how awesome our game is". Why invest so many hours into this game and only THEN ask for feedback? You should have just worked on the shooting mechanics (not the gun even, just the shooting) with some placeholders and work out all the math and bullet effects, etc. Once that's done you can create a single good looking gun for demo purposes and make a video. Present that video in front of people and ask for feedback about THAT feature alone. If you mash up so many things together during many months of development it's hard to give specific feedback and instead all people will say is "it's crap". There are many good qualities to the games I saw today but if you don't take feedback in increments you will always hear "this is crap" or, at best, "it has potential".

This toy game is kinda similar to The Mean Greens - Plastic Warfare on steam which came out in 2015 but it didn't had much succes. Really fun and cute game though. Maybe it's from the same developers trying to resurrect the game.

You might want to check out Manor Lords. It isn't your typical type of game, it's a city builder/strategy game. In the strategy element, it is looking to be on par with total war if not just flat out better(not exactly hard considering the quality of the latest releases) and it may have the best city building mechanics of any game I've ever seen. The reason I think you might want to look at it though is that it is a master class in hype. There aren't pre rendered cinematic trailers, there aren't scripted sequences, all the hype building is from the dev(only one) going into the game and showing all the things that he promised. It's a breathe of fresh air from all the other crowd funded shitfests that always fail to live up to their own hype, and if the game does well it might finally kill the fake-hype cash grabs that have plagued the market for the last half a decade

10:10 Your describing exactly how it used to be with a lot of the Mods and Maps on Unreal Tournament 99 and UT 2004. Unreal Engine 1 and 2 had so many options to make this possible AND run smoothly. For those who never experienced, it was as fun as BigFry describes.

Game devs: if you want to make a good game, use Metal Gear Solid 2 as a standard for how a game should RUN. It should be a flawless, fluid experience. Mgs2 managed to use all the capabilities of the PS2 to its fullest, while maintaining a flawless 60fps with NO DROPS IN PERFORMANCE. Every single animation and movement in game maintains a perfect smoothness, with a beautiful anti-aliasing wave that blurs movement and shadow after every punch, kick, ECT. It all looks gorgeously smooth. Games now days are missing this. They all suffer from over the top shaders and poor framerate.

Oh man .... Check this out @BigfryTV Its called "FPS Multiplayer Template 3.0 " on the Epic Marketplace. Thats the whole "thing" basically.... (Game 1)

Appropriate communication with community (regular updates, handling criticism appropriately, etc) and a roadmap or equivalent with appropriate dates are the 2 things I look at before agreeing to offer any additional help to small projects. Grandiose ego + grandiose vision with deadlines nobody could meet + repeated incidents of hostility toward others = obviously don't need my help.

GI Joe game like Battlefield. Based on all the characters and the vehicles in the toy genre with a Battlefield like maps. This was my idea.

Attack on toys is pretty sweet , better than the old 3do army men games but i always loved that perspective. I'm interested in making an army men fps game , maybe like an open world neighborhood or something like an apartment building. I'm literally learning to use unity , and this is one of my reasons.

I feel that the first one just needs more time and effort and mabey there might be potential. The second one is ok, not my thing but it’s cool. The third one just needs more feedback and time then it would be pretty cool.

It's possible that the game is a learning thing, when I was learning ue4 I did recreate some cod stuff but not ask youtubers to see it, and publish it. Kinda dumb

They have a mod that went official for Rising Storm 2 Vietnam. It's called Green Army Men. It's like 16.99 or something like that, sorta over priced imho but it's really cool.
